First found out about Parklab Gardens through a Yelp Elite Event during the pandemic. After that…read moreevent, I actually came back a few times (sometimes by myself, with the hubby, and sometimes with our pup), but I didn't get to play miniature golf on any of those times. So when my out-of-town friend came to visit me recently and wanted to do a girls day together, I thought it would be so fun to book a tee time at the Stagecoach Greens for us. And yes, we both loved it! What a fun way to start our day! We got there for one of the earlier tee times and we had so much fun! This mini golf course resides inside Parklab Gardens. There's also a bar cart, the Watering Hole, and various other food carts within it. There are also cabanas you can rent for bigger groups. Perfect for parties, group events, and team building events. Also, Parklab Gardens is across from Spark Social, so lots of food trucks to try within walking distance.

If you stay under the cabanas, you're 100% guaranteed shelter from the sun and wind. Parklab is actually just a quieter version of Spark Social, which is right across the street, where most of the food trucks are located. There is mini golf available at Parklab but the customer service was very lacking. The pathways are wide and thoughtfully designed, making it easy to navigate even on busier days. Most people are very good at staying in one lane and vice versa. People and cyclists are respectful. The park is also impressively clean and well maintained, which really adds to the overall experience. It's a great place to bring your dogs, kids, or simply enjoy some solo time outdoors. There's plenty of open space for dogs to stroll comfortably, and the sandy beach area is a fun bonus for families with kids. There is also plenty of parking around, with 2 parking lots nearby.

Although I was never a fan of the double rims. The only negative in my opinion. There are 4 hoops total. One full court & 2 half courts. Usually on the weekends by mid morning into the early afternoon there are pick up games going. Although I haven't been here in a while things could be different now. The surrounding area also features a beach volleyball court, Tennis court, small Dog Park, Public restrooms, a kayak launching pier/dock (There's a small Kayak house, storing kayaks, canoes, & paddle-boards right behind the courts), a pavilion on the other side of the creek, walkways that lead all the way to the ballpark, & the infamous line of houseboats a long the creek. That have been there since the 60's This place is also the location of Klay Thompson's 2017 "Built w/ Chocolate Milk" commercial. Overall a very modern cool chill park tucked along the Mission Creek China Basin/Mission Bay Area

The San Francisco flight was a bit dizzying but great and the T-Rex dinosaur experience was fully computer-generated but still a lot of fun. Each ride lasts about 10 minutes and features immersive details like tilting seats and wind effects from fans. It would be nice if they also added mists when you fly over the ocean. It's wasn't too expensive I believe it was $15 for adults and $13 for kids. Its something different to do if the weather is not great.

I did the flyer ride. It is about a seven or eight minute ride, It was a lot of fun. It's one of those where you sit in the seats, and then the floor drops out from under you, and it is like you are flying over the city. The wind blows in your face, and when you were going over the water, you feel just a little bit of a spray. I don't want to give anything away, but it does take you all over the city. It was really a lot of fun. The only reason I'm taking off a star, is because the flyer ride is a bit expensive. It's $14 per person, adult or child. That wasn't too bad for myself, but if you are more than two or three people, it can add up. Regardless, it was well worth the money for myself to do. I wouldn't come back to see the same movie, but if they changed it, I would ride it again.. This ride is also part of the "San Francisco city pass. I had fun.. Thanks!

Seriously underutilized Mission resource. I found this place by accident when I was looking to start boxing again. Full ring and a really great coach got me in the door. The fact that classes are reasonably priced and well timed for after work makes it easy. What I love about this place is that it has a full weight gym, Gravitron (yeah, I'm dating myself but there is no better assisted pullup machine), and nautilus. Oh, did I mention the fact that it's free if you are a SF resident (aka taxpayer). The facilities are in pretty good shape. The people there are awesome - Mike is the caretaker and he does take care of the place. bring an ID with you when you come so you can check out equipment and put this place on your workout roadmap. I'm looking forward to taking the Capoirera class and getting a racketball racket again (haven't played in years) for the winter. There is a playground for kids too. Also did a little rollerblading at the Skatin' Place which happens on select Sundays. It was pretty chill. We even skated along the JFK Promenade to check out the artworks (old and new) and live music happening in various locations. I regularly visit this park because there are so many awesome events that happen here, some that I've attended include music festivals, Symphony in the Park and Bandshell concerts at the Spreckels Temple of Music, the SF International Chocolate Salon, and the Entwined Lighted Forest. There are also plenty of trails I've taken advantage of for running, and lakes and waterfalls I've explored and set up a mat for lounging nearby, like the scenic Blue Heron Lake that offers pedal boat rentals and Lloyd Lake with the Portals of the Past monument, a unique memorial and piece of history. A huge variety of trees and plant life surround you wherever you go, along with waterbirds and other adorable creatures, and lots of grass for picnicking. There are also beautiful gardens galore including the SF Botanical Garden where the annual Flower Piano takes place, the Conservatory of Flowers, the Japanese Tea Garden, and a bunch that are free to visit like the Shakespeare Garden, Queen Wilhelmina Tulip Garden, Dahlia Dell, and Fuchsia Dell. Countless public art displays and projects can be found throughout the park, some of my faves being the Rabbitwoman and Dogman sculptures along the Golden Mile pathway and the sea serpent "Naga and the Captainess" at Rainbow Falls. I've also checked out a plethora of museums and attractions here over the years, such as Cal Academy of Sciences, the paddock bison, and the dutch-style windmills. I never seem to run out of interesting things to see, do, and experience at GGP.
