I can't believe I've been living in Daly City and have never heard of this place for my son. I usually go to Serramonte or Tanforan to take the little one to the free play areas but after a while it can get boring going to the same spots so I decided to take him to Pacelli's Gym. We went on a Wednesday and there were about 3 other toddlers with their parents so my son really had a large space to run around. There's a bunch of little cars, slides, balls, tricycles, and other play items so it kept him quite busy. The only downside is that it's not free but either way he still enjoyed his time there.

$4 indoor play lot for toddlers. It's inside a gymnasium at the DC recreation center. On rainy days if you want to take your tot out to play, this indoor play area is perfect. Easy lot parking too. It's only open Fridays from 10-2pm. Winter hours might be different so call ahead. You can eat indoors on the side of the bleachers.

The tot gym is an awesome way for little ones to let loose some energy! The setups occasionally change which is nice so the kids play with something "new". There are tons of trikes, peddle cars, hula hoops, balls, and even a small bouncy jumper. The only drawback is that sometimes they tot gym is closed due to other events happening but you might not know until you show up; so now, I've learned to call before I leave the house.

This is an awesome place for tots!! I love the free parking, inexpensive fee and safe environment for the little ones. There's enough toys and structures for everyone :) My 2.5 year old loves coming here.

A great place to take toddlers to run around. I have two children ages 15 mo and 2 mo and its great that my older one can play while I take care of the little one. It's cheap an they sell admissions in a ten pack that's cheaper. They are open 3 times a week. I am considering holding my kids party here too they are very accommodating.

The dog park was really nice with fresh cut grass and fencing so the dogs can be let off of their leash. They had potty bag holders available but I always bring my own so I'm not sure if they were stocked or not. There were only a few other people in the dog area, but there were lots of people walking their dogs. There was also a soccer game going on just adjacent to the dog run and the park was very lively and full of people. I personally did not appreciate that the sports teams had placed their goals on the only sidewalk/ walkway through the area so that anyone walking had to go on to the grass to get around them. I feel like the park has plenty of room and that wasn't necessary. Other than that, we really enjoyed our visit here. I also checked out the library while my husband checked out the food truck with our dog. There were clean bathrooms inside and an adorable children's book area. I definitely recommend a stop to this park if you're in the area.

We were the only ones there on a Sunday afternoon, which was nice in a way because we had the coach and space to ourselves. We opted for the Standard, which was $26.98/person for 45 minutes. Throw first and pay at the end. First, we scanned a QR code and signed an online waiver. Then, the coach explained the rules and provided demos of how to throw with one hand and both hands behind and over the head. He was very friendly and provided tips and tricks throughout our session to improve our aim. Despite using a hatchet, which is meant for one hand, I thought it was too heavy so I had to use both hands. If you have enough arm strength, one hand is better because you can line up the axe with the target, which helps improve your aim. It was definitely harder than it looked and felt like a full body workout! The axe handles and targets looked a little run down. In addition, there were a lot of wood chips on the ground and I almost got some splinters. Side notes: 1.) 10-minute walk from Colma BART station 2.) Bathrooms available in the hallway outside. *Verdict: Unique activity for a date or hangout with family & friends

Since it wasn't busy, our group of 3 was able to play simultaneously. While the ambiance is slightly lacking with it being super cold and brightly lit with gym lighting, the experience was really enjoyable. Our host was nice enough to lend us a tripod as we were trying to record some of our games! Also as the last group of the night, we got to try the large heavy axes. My advice would be to dress comfortably and expect some light strain on your back and arms. The place is sort of tucked in the martial arts building and at night does not look so welcoming. But there are decent sized lot right outside. With our student emails, we also got a discount during payment at the end.

It is high up, but not as high as my old street, Edgemar. We must've taken a different route, walking, a side street, and that's how we discovered it. We drove by here (only saw one person on the basketball court), and I wanted to see if it was here. Imagine my surprise! Seeing places from my childhood, just brings back memories. It gives me the warm fuzzies, seriously. I am so glad that this little gem is still here. I snapped a few pics. I sent them to my sister to see if she'd recognized it. And she did! But I could've sworn it was under a different name back then, though. A large tree providing a pretty view (the city is a pretty view too) actually, there are a few big trees here, a couple of green picnic tables, a basketball court, a red swing set, a small grassy area, a small children's playground, a couple of trash cans. Bordered by a chain link fence. If I lived here, I'd probably make this a regular spot. Since it's tucked away, not many people know about it, maybe just people in the immediate neighborhood (like a three street radius, maybe). There are posted signs, probably the hours of operation. One of them states, "No Parking Any Time." I tried checking in but it wasn't even on Yelp yet, so that's why it's me, who's adding it here.
