I called them July 18 2013 for my 6 month replacement device , spoke to Mike in respiratory supplies. He said he would ship out item. July 30 I call back and he says it was shipped , I asked for a tracking number , he doesn't have one wait a few more days. I wait another 10 days still nothing. Call him 2x he never returns calls. I call him again on Aug 23 he said I should have it , if I had why would I be calling you ??? Moron. He says he will file a claim and send another one out ASAP I receive it sept 11 Now mind you they are in the same area as my place of residence , I could've of shipped it via Singapore with a stop in Boston and still get it quicker. I get it and of course it's missing a piece that's vital to make this work properly. I call my favorite person back and he's like I didn't know you wanted this part too. Meanwhile he's laughing on phone to a co worker no I'm not delusional and says I will ship it out to you with a major attitude. . I was tempted to go down and readjust his attitude. Total ass**** I' have heard complaints from other ppl who have used them in regard to him and other employees. From dealing with my insurance company, to replacing equipment, to downloads of my data, to conference calls with my Doctors. With all the changes in healthcare and insurance changes in payments, Austin Medical has never left me hanging, or without equipment and supplies. Once, when they weren't taking medicare, and another company in North Carolina sent me my 3 month suppiies. I was sent the wrong supplies 3 times and went back to Austin, and they helped me out. Last week , after my sleep study order was delayed 4 weeks, instead of ASAP within 3 days. My AHI is 36.3 Austin Medical isn't taking Medicare till End of June. My Doctor and another Rep from Baycare were to have everything set up and ready to go in last Friday. I spoke to the Dr office, the Dr. gave me the reps personnel phone number and I called him wed, thurs, and friday. Come Friday NOTHING, NOT A CALL. They all Knew I was leaving for the summer. I was so mad and Aggravated with Baycare and the rep and the Dr. that at 11:30am Friday I called Austin Medical and was there in 10 minutes, and Jeanette and Sandy, both assisted me with a new machine, my new settings, new fitting, new supplies and mask and hose. They worked through their lunch break to make my day. This is before the 3 day holiday weekend. That service and care I have not seen in so long, I can't remember. Thank You. John S.
