Every therapist has been effective, some areas are taking more work. I'm writing today regarding the superb post-right shoulder replacement PT. My therapist is Libby Sudhoff, she is more physical than most, and will work at any discomfort to mitigate the pain. I've had 12 sessions with her and only a few more before she goes on to her next traveling PT assignment. I'm very grateful for the progress and reclaimed flexibility her work has done for me.

5-Star Review for Full Strength Physical Therapy (formerly Solutions PT), Arlington, Va…read more I can't say enough wonderful things about Full Strength Physical Therapy and especially Andy and Danny. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcomed into a clean, comfortable, and supportive environment with a genuinely caring team. Andy and Danny are incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate. They truly listen--something that means so much when you're dealing with chronic pain and multiple health challenges. I've been treated for back and neck stenosis, knee issues from a torn meniscus, and ongoing pain, and they have been patient, thoughtful, and determined every step of the way. What really stands out is how much they care about your progress. They take the time to tailor exercises specifically to your needs and clearly explain how to do them at home, which has made a huge difference in my recovery. Their combination of hands-on therapy and targeted exercises has helped improve my mobility, balance, and strength--and most importantly, reduced my pain so I can finally rest better. The entire staff is friendly, helpful, and incredibly professional. There's a strong sense that everyone is invested in helping you achieve your goals. Convenient location with easy parking is just the icing on the cake. I'm so grateful to have found them--this team has truly made a meaningful, life-changing impact on my quality of life. Highly recommend!

I sought out Dr S in anticipation of the seven hour dental surgery that was going to be painful and…read moreI had started to lose sleep night after night in anticipation of it. Dr. S. took so much time with me in talking through the options since my therapy was going to be more of a, "one time deal" as opposed to ongoing therapy for more permanent and pervasive problems. I so appreciated his care. I cannot tell you how much better the experience was because of him. I still had some pain, but the combination of Valium and ketamine made the entire experience almost pleasant with a few stinging moments. You don't know what you are going to walk into when you look online for "pain relief near me," and having been disappointed that my dentist could not offer basic things like Valium I really felt lost and overwhelmed. I feel so lucky to have found Dr. Sendi!

It has actually been a couple of years since I went to this place, but I was having a conversation…read morewith a group of women today about PT that compelled me to circle back and provide a review. We were talking about what it's like to go to one of those in-network PT farms where a 22 year old is loosely overseeing your exercises while also attending to several other patients in a large open area that all feels slightly chaotic and, to be honest, just a little bit sus lol. Core Wellness is not that place. If you can afford it, just go here. They have highly experienced staff who give you dedicated, one on one attention for the full hour and they take a holistic approach to solving your issue -- really listening; asking good follow up questions each session and pivoting as needed; explaining what's going on at all times and how different issues might be connected; working on your muscles with different techniques instead of just giving you basic exercises to do by yourself that you could have found online; etc. I saw Kelly and she is one of those healthcare professionals you wish all providers were like. My husband saw her as well last year and felt the same. Anyway, 5 stars, no notes.

Every day chores became 3x harder because the slightest bit of movement caused shooting pain from my lower back down to the back of my right leg. I couldn't even lift my then one year old child without hurting myself. It felt like I had a spine of an 80 year old, at only 22. I saw various specialists and underwent different procedures but nothing helped to improve my back until physical therapy. From day one at this facility, Dale was attentive to my needs and was always encouraging me. I really liked that she challenged me every session and believed in my abilities when I didn't. She is very knowledgeable and helped me in finding ways to improve my posture, movement, sleep position, and home workout. She is also very knowledgeable of the equipments, especially the reformer, which helped me a ton with gaining my strength back. I made a full recovery and now living pain free for almost 2 years. I'm so thankful to Dale for not just giving me my life back, but also for building up my confidence in myself.

I came to them after another PT failed to make any changes to my pain level. Despite my case being a bit of a head scratcher, Sydney, with Esteban's support, kept discussing and experimenting and not giving up on finding me relief. Which they have! I'm grateful that they didn't give up on me and were willing to dig in and figure it out. I would recommend The Physical Therapy Zone to anyone who needs PT services (and they have a laser and other new gadgets!). And as others have mentioned, they work 1 on 1 instead of 1 therapists to 3 patients at a time which was a welcome change from other practices. Thank you Sydney and Esteban!!

Strongly recommend the Arlington (Ballston/Marymount) location for Medstar Health Physical Therapy…read more I had total ankle replacement surgery performed in mid-February, and started my physical therapy sessions about 3 weeks later. My PT sessions alternated between Maggie and Kris twice a week until late May, when my visits tapered off to once a week until completion of my therapy in mid- to late-June. Both Maggie and Kris are consummate professionals, friendly and engaging but also acutely aware of what I could (and couldn't do) at the various stages of my recovery. Without their help, I would not have recovered as quickly - and as strongly - as I did. They were very knowledgeable, while still being careful, about expanding my ankle's range of motion and building its strength, which in turn gave me more confidence in the progress of my recovery. Because of their prudent treatment and careful prodding, I was starting neighborhood walks by late March, resumed bike riding in early May, and started hitting golf balls again in mid-May. By the end of May, I was taking 25 mile bike rides and playing 18 holes of golf - well ahead of my anticipated recovery schedule. I'm very grateful for their treatment and professionalism, as well as for the work of the staff at Medstar PT Arlington. My treatment overlapped with the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, and the protocols at Medstar were very solid. I would highly recommend their services to anyone in need of PT.
