We visited Upper Deck Batting Range yesterday for fun around 3 PM. It was my first time trying the batting cage. Trina was really sweet and helpful by explaining how pricing worked and ensuring that we had what we needed at the cages. They also have a loyalty rewards card that allows you to get free swings (the $5 option) after a certain amount of visits. You can stamp your card one time per visit to earn the free swings. They also sold gloves and an array of snacks and drinks including popcorn and Italian ice. They provided baseball bats and helmets and had seating available with tables to hold your items. We stayed for about 90 minutes and tried the baseball and softball cages. It was a fun activity and great work out. I will be back to practice on the softball cage again. read more

They have all type of merch from batting gloves to batting tap. They supply helmets and bats in case you don't have your own. You can even buy food and drinks! The fresh popcorn was delicious! I visited about an hour after opening on Saturday morning. They are under new management. Haven't been in a few years so I can't recall what the previous management was like. But I definitely had a great experience on my most recent visit. Management welcomed us, introduced us to the loyalty program, and was very friendly. He was constantly making sure the machines were good and walked around the facility checking things out. There was one point in time where the machine for some reason wasn't throwing balls and he noticed it and came over and said that he'd give me tokens for the missed balls. I didn't plan on saying anything about it because I had already had enough for the day. But the fact that he initiated addressing the issue gets two thumbs up for me. Way to put the customer first. My wife and I visited Upper Deck today for the first time and we loved it! The owner was welcoming, personable, and professional. Atmosphere is great and plenty of bats and helmets to use. My son and I visited this range to start prepping him for baseball. First off, it's recommended to bring your own gear if your a really picking person or die hard baseball player. Their equipment is a bit run down, but useable along with the cages. However, you do have your choice of various speeds to choose from. Overall, the place clearly has history so everything you see is expected, however it definitely gets the job done to get some great practice in at REALLY affordable prices. read more
