Been very pleased with the coaching approach for young baseball players for both teams and individual instruction.

One of the trails leads to Halcyon, which takes over an hour if walking at a fast pace. This park has tons of amenities, but the real hidden gem is the free run club every Tuesday at 7PM by the track. There is a nice skate and bike park there as well. Got to see several deer along the trail as well. I like how much nature this park has, many deers roam in the park. Dog must be leashed as there is wildlife present. Multiple picnic areas that varies in size. Four picnic pavilions that can be reserved, ample free parking but there is no shade on slides and swings. Play ground for kids and lots of space for different age groups to meet and do some fun activities. Well worth a visit any time of the year. If you are out this way definitely check it out.

I was in the market for a batting cage and came across this site. He's local-ish, and since the…read moresite talks about local pickup options saving $$, I reached out about a net + frame. Despite all the links to nets and frames and associated materials, all he could come up with was, "I might have a used trapezoid frame." I waited a week while he confirmed and never heard back. Called him again and was told the same thing. I finally bought one elsewhere. Unfortunately, the kit I purchased elsewhere was minus two connectors I needed, so I ordered them via his online order, thinking it would get here faster than having it shipped across country. Luckily I used my CC and not Paypal. Three days went by and I never got a purchase confirmation via email. I texted him because the site says they will respond in 5 minutes. Never got a response. For days later I called and was told he needed to check his warehouse and that he would respond that afternoon. Never called. Called one last time and was told he didn't have them in stock. I told him to cancel my order and refund me the money. We'll see if it happens, or if I have to take it up with my CC company.

How on earth did I miss this park all these years? My son went to Shakerag Middle School right next…read moredoor, and yet I never once set foot here until today. Big mistake. Because this place is a hidden masterpiece. Forget your typical neighborhood park. This one comes with legit hiking trails, two full pavilions, a playground, restrooms (yes, clean ones), picnic tables, grills, and even a fishing pier. And let's not ignore the fact that it's dog-friendly with waste stations--translation: no excuses not to bring your four-legged buddy. But here's the kicker: the Storybook Trail. If you've got kids and you haven't walked this trail, you're flat-out cheating them out of something magical. Giant trees shade the path, beams of sunlight slip through the canopy, and page by page a story unfolds as you hike. It's part exercise, part fairytale, and completely unforgettable. The nature trail is an easy 1.33 miles--perfect for a quick adventure that doesn't feel "quick." The talking trail is another, that you absolutely cannot miss. I'm already planning my return trip with my husband and son for fishing off the pier. This park is hiding in plain sight, and honestly, if you live nearby and haven't been, you're doing yourself a disservice. Stop driving past it. Stop ignoring it. Go.

So, I do feel that the trails could be better marked with not just green or red markers, but also with arrows. There are crank machines along the way that let you listen to information about the trees and animals that you might see in the woods. We did see a doe! There's also a children's play park, a restroom, and a story walk, where you read a book as you walk the shorter trail.
