In our family, we prioritize experiences over gifts...so we came in to Rum Creek to try out footgolf for the first time on Father's Day weekend. We came as a family of six but only paid for the four aged preteen to adult. The toddlers were free; we brought their age-appropriate balls from home and got adult balls from the club. It took us about 1.5hrs to work our way through 7 holes. We honestly couldn't find the other two. Unfortunately, the office was out of maps of the footgolf course so there was no guide to follow. We just had to get out there and roll with it. The footgolf scorecards and pencils were helpful to have! It's hot in Georgia so the preteen tapped out after 3 holes, the new teenager tapped out after 4, the toddler tapped out after 5, and only the adults finished all 7. We left after doing the course once even though we would have been allotted more time (I'm not sure if this is because we hadn't reached the limit or because there weren't that many people out there with us). The guy working the office was very helpful and kind. The office has clean restrooms that I definitely had to visit with to the toddlers mid-game. All in all, it was a good experience and I'd go again with the right company. Instead of water bottles, I'd bring my backpack water bottle. The only other group out there had someone lugging a cooler. I guess that's an option too. read more

Just tried to hit a small bucket(play with a different driver shaft) at a little after 4. Place closes at 5:15. And before I can even get out my truck the guy working comes out to me and say what you think you gonna get done. I said well you close at 5:15 and he says "I know that's what it says but......" then he says well it's cold.... I didn't want to argue with the guy so I just left. I believe he just didn't want to do anything his last hour and half of work or so. Hard work to run a picker I guess. read more

Rum Creek is a small sports facility located in Stockbridge. It offers a 9-hole golf course, a foot golf course, a golf driving range with grass and mats (two ranges, essentially), practice putting greens and a practice bunker. There are also two batting cages although I saw no ball-throwing machines. I think they're for pitching and batting practice. You can get golf instruction, too, as Kiran stated in his review. I had not thought foot golf was a thing but apparently it is - some courses are adding it to improve profitability (golf as a recreational game is in a slump). To play, you use a soccer ball (provided) and attempt to kick it into large holes dug in the ground. Seems like a good kid game to me. The clubhouse is small. They have restrooms, though, along with range balls, soccer balls, rental clubs and rental pull carts. On a mid December day with clear skies and warm temperature, I was there to play the 9-hole course. And I did, although as the very nice person who met me at the clubhouse after running the ball collecting tractor said, they had just killed the grass on their greens for the winter, so the greens were not really in playing shape (they weren't and I'm not going to ding them for that). $10 gets you a round and a small bucket of practice balls. A fair price, even with the greens. Holes are all par three and vary from 80 to 170 yards depending on which tee you use. I hit from the middle blue tees for most of the holes but also from the longer gold on a couple, just to get the length up and use my 3-wood. After two holes, I gave up putting (too bumpy) and just practiced short chipping instead. With it being winter (our first significant snow happened ten days prior), the course looks different than it would if all the grass was grown in. Rum Creek seems like a nice course and were it more convenient to where I live, I'd have been here before. They have a frequent user card, so after you play so many rounds or buckets, you get something free (I forget the details). Easy parking. read more

This was my first time to this place and I liked it so much. It's good for practicing and a great little place for the price. Great staff especially Mr. Carpenter, he gives you great tips on hand grip, body position and swing. Relaxing place to be at. I had a great time, the guy helped me find clubs since I did not have any of my own. Wish they can set up more circles where I need more target practice and aim too. Little improvement will be much better place. Otherwise it is a good one and I really enjoyed the place. Rum Creek Golf is located in Stock bridge, Georgia; features a driving range and a 9-hole Par 3 executive golf course. The driving range has grass tees as well as artificial turf hitting stations and a 12-acre landing area with numerous target greens. All holes on the course have three sets of tees. Junior golf clinics are available during the spring and summer. This place has ample free parking in front of the location. Hours of operation are Mondays 12 PM to 9 PM; Tuesday to Saturday 10 AM to 9 PM; Sundays 10 AM to 7 PM. The last ball sale 30 minutes prior to close. Driving range with mats and grass areas. Frequent buyer card for buckets. Basic 3 par course but great for beginners or if you like to walk. I really like the fact that the course is set up for all skill levels. While the longest hole is 180 from the back tees, there are kids tee boxes on every hole, so you can take the kids out there. It is a very challenging course from the back tees, with very challenging greens and two holes where water comes into play. The course is also very economical. I'm looking forward to coming to the Rum Creek Golf range again soon. read more

Great 9 hole 3 par !! Well maintained. Owner (Chris) very involved with operation and course upkeep. All very friendly. Only confusing part is where disk golf and golf markers are / start. Foot golf holes interfere with regular golf. Never seen anyone play disk or foot golf. Might consider eliminating those options. Love the current $25 play all you want golf and range deal ! read more

To be fair this is a nice place that is relatively close to where I live. Further, the staff are very friendly and helpful. However, I think the prices are a bit high. If you are an avid golfer that likes to practice a lot then $11 for a large bucket adds up very quickly and $18 for a jumbo bucket is also rather high. Most of the courses that I have played thus far in the area charge anywhere from $3 to $6 for a small to large bucket of practice balls to hit on their driving range. Also, the 9 hole course is not functional at this time due to the condition of the putting greens and this is not mentioned on their website so someone could should up expecting to play 9 holes of golf only to find out that the putting greens are not functional, they should post this so as to prevent someone a wasted trip. Take away, if you want somewhere to hit the ball every now and then then this is your place, if you are an avid golfer then go to a course as it will be a lot cheaper. read more
