She is especially adept at assessing the needs and design preferences of her customers and works tirelessly to ensure complete satisfaction. Notably, there was never any pressure to purchase items and there was always extreme flexibility and offers to return or exchange items, which is a complete rarity in the business world today. It was an absolute delight to work with Donna Mae at every stage of the process. In addition to purchasing many furniture items from their expansive store and impressive showroom in Freehold, New York, she helped us to find other amazing accent pieces by doing research for us, including calling multiple furniture manufacturers and consulting with her industry contacts. On the day of the furniture delivery, Donna Mae and her delivery team went above and beyond to assist us. Not only did they install all of the furniture in a careful, timely, organized, and helpful manner, but they helped us to put up paintings, unpack and dispose of our own boxes of items, and assisted in making sure that we were pleased with how the furniture looked. We simply cannot say enough about Donna Mae and Tip Top Furniture. They are a superb example of how to run a first-class operation that is customer-centered! I sent it back to them, they refuse any refund. Look how insulting their response is, as if I am a professional hand laundry outfit: "We are sorry to hear that the first washing did not go as expected. Can you please let us know which products you purchased. Also, may we ask which detergent you used to wash our products? Our printed fabrics do require special care. Due to our natural dyes and the hand-block printing process each wash releases dye in to the water, this is normal. The trick is to avoid releasing too much dye at one time. It is very important to use the maximum water setting despite the size of your load followed by an extra rinse. This ensures that the basin fills with water so that the products can rinse thoroughly and not absorb the excess dye. In the past when excess dye has been absorbed by our products we have had great success by re-washing the items on delicate with cold water and distilled white vinegar followed by an extra rinse. Drip-dry is recommended followed by a hot steam iron for pressing. Our return policy states we accept returns on unused/unwashed items within 30 days of purchase. The reason we specify "unwashed" is due to the fact that laundering is specific to the individual, machinery and cleaning solutions. Please let us know if the re-washing process is able to clarify the backgrounds of the products and rectify this situation."
