Found them online. They had a Groupon deal in the past and I had remembered (I did not buy a Groupon. I paid full price) The website has all the fancy emblems, examples and "guarantee" etc... I paid $75 through PayPal and waited for a confirmation. And waited. And waited. No confirmation. Not even an email. I then emailed them and asked if there was something I missed? They replied and said they need my voucher number??? What voucher number??? I replied and got no where. I am disputing the charge with PayPal. To be honest, I am very concerned about their services. I did not receive a confirmation email, voucher number, phone call or any email with instructions. I do not have the time to chase after an unprofessional company to make me a professional resume. Don't bother working with them because they do not adhere to their timelines at all. I find them to be unprofessional and unresponsive to questions regarding resume editing status. I am in the middle of a heavy job search and thought that their services would help me with that. However, I have been waiting one month to receive my resume when I was told that I would have a draft in two weeks. I receive sporadic emails from them once in a while telling me that they are dealing with backlog. I find this to be unacceptable if you are running a business - they have failed to adhere to the number one business principle of supply and demand. I am not impressed thus far. read more

My resume is professional, highlights my skills and work experience in a clear, concise and positive light (especially for someone soon to be entering the job market). It was a bit "complicated" to represent my experiences as a college student because I have completed three internships, had several key service/volunteer appointments (= work experiences,) a part-time job throughout college, and more to include in an entry-level resume. I had no idea what to expect when I purchased the voucher, and was a bit nervous about it, but the professional result definitely exceeded what I imagined. If I could rate 0 stars, I would. I purchased a resume upgrade on Living Social. The company contacted me right away after I redeemed my voucher and gave me a completion date of 8 to 10 business days for a first draft. I waited and on the 11th business day, I emailed their generic mailbox requesting my resume. I got back a sorry for the delay message, they'll have something for me on Saturday. Since the 11th business day was a Monday this new self imposed delivery date gave them 6 more days to get me a first draft. Well, the following Saturday came and went....still nothing. Not even a we missed it again, we're sorry and here is a new date. Ridiculous and very, very unprofessional. I purchased their services because I am actively looking for a new job. So I need my resume! I have delayed applying for a few positions because I wanted to send the upgraded resume instead of the one I had been using. In today's competitive job market you have to present yourself in the best possible light. Upgrade Resume either bit off more than they could chew with the Living Social offer or they are just a poorly managed and in effectual company. Don't waste your time or money! My sister bought a similar deal through another company on Livingsocial.com and received her resume, cover letter thank you letter, and follow up letter in three days. I thought I was purchasing the same deal. When I realized it wasn't the same deal, I was still excited to see what they did to improve my resume as I am in the market to find a better job. I received an email on 08/10/15 stating it would take two weeks and if I had any questions, I could email them and expect a response from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm EST Mon - Fri. On the day my resume was supposed to be ready, I received another email stating they underestimated their estimated time of arrival and it would be another two weeks, now on 09/02/15. I emailed them on 09/02/15 and asked "Where is my resume?" with NO RESPONSE. I emailed them again on 09/04./15 asking them once more "Where is my resume?" I still have not received a reply. I contacted Livingsocial and requested a refund which will be a Livingsocial credit. Do not waste my time or my money! I think it is rude and unprofessional to not respond to emails. read more
