The hard drive on my computer blew a couple of weeks ago. I checked a few places to have it…read morerepaired (I needed the files on it recovered and restored), including Best Buy and a couple of local repair places. Eventually, I called Swartz Creek Computers and received a reasonable estimate. I took the hard drive here and the owner had it repaired, with all files and photos completely restored, as well as additional memory and some upgrades. The cost was under $200 and it was ready in a couple of hours. The tech had run all necessary diagnostics,repaired the hard drive and increased the memory significantly in only four hours! I thought that was pretty reasonable. His work came with a warranty as well. Overall, I was happy with the price and quality of service. I checked out their selection of new laptops , all decently priced, while I was waiting. I might come back to purchase a new one (I'll likely be replacing the second laptop in the next several months or so) as opposed to a larger retailer. If I have any other computer problems that need repairing, I'll be sure to bring my devices back to this place for repair based on the quality of service and reasonable pricing that I encountered here. I'm grateful the tech was able to restore all of the files, as they were important and not everything had been uploaded to the cloud.
