Great service and professionalism at this place. I had files on an almost 20 year old floppy disk that needed to be retrieved (who could have anticipated that?!?). Not only did Jake retrieve them for me, he downloaded the programs necessary to still open the files and export them to a format usable for me. RUDE!!!! Asked them to fix the screen on my son's laptop. They went fishing in the computer. They were VERY RUDE to my wife on the phone. Cussed @ us while we were there & when we lefted out. Pretended to call 911. Quickest 911 call ever. They need to listen to customers. When we say fix one thing,that's it. Fix it. Josh was rude on the phone. Incredibly rude. I was told that I would hear back from them either that night or the next day. I dropped my laptop off Thursday morning and hadn't heard back by Monday afternoon, so I called and inquired about it. I was told there was no way I was told that, and that it would be 2-4 business days. I tried explaining that I was told I would get a call the next day, and he said "We can go back and forth and back and forth all day but there's no way you were told that." I'm picking up my laptop and will be finding a new place to take it to. I refuse to be essentially called a liar over something I was told point blank. Definitely would not recommend. read more

I want to start by saying that you can find someone to complain about any place when they don't get their way, and that is unfortunate. I honestly don't take the time to leave many reviews but I felt this one needed to be done.. so here it goes. I have dealt with Computer Junkies many times over the last several years, and I have Always been treated in a way that keeps me coming back. Computer shops come and go like the changing of the tide, but these guys have been around for years, and that alone tells you that they conduct business in a good way. I did business with them as recent as two days ago and I am still very satisfied with my experiences. Sometimes a computer is too old to make sense repairing, or getting parts comes too close to the cost of just getting another computer. I have seen companies like Walmart sell computers for $199.99 and then charge nearly the same amount to get a replacement screen that broke because the kids placed it in a book bag with text books for school (yes that really happened). I have found that I am further ahead to buy the kids a quality refurbished laptop that is business grade, instead of buying a new cheaply made model from one of the Big Box stores. There is a reason why a new laptop is only $200... it's because it is a piece of junk. These guys always have more than one option available for a good used laptop. If you truly want value for your money, and people who have time to talk to you when you go in, then you owe it to yourself to at least drop in to see these guys. It is a small, locally owned business, that is still in business several years after it opened: and that is due to the fact that they take care of their customers. Every computer that I have bought from them has had a warranty so there is peace of mind. I am a satisfied, and repeat customer - and No, I wasn't paid to leave this review lol. I took my computer in there yesterday, there was something wrong with the screen when you open it up it was only opening up at approximately 30 degree angle and working only at that angle. I took my computer to the Computer Junkies and they gave me an estimate and insured me that it will be able to be fixed my computer was fixed within the same day, and the price was excellent. We took our computer in, it was over heating. They got it in right away, diagnosed the problem. They called and said the repair would cost about $50, we said great fix it. They had it ready for pick up the next day. Very fast and pleasant service and it was less than the estimated cost. We will use them again. read more

This place may be hard to notice but if you can find it you wont be disappointed. They are located next to the pet store on Bristol road in the same building, across the street from the strip mall in-between Grand Travers and Saginaw. After years of deal with substandard service from other places like IO software it is almost shocking to deal with these people. I took my computer in to get the hard drive replaced. I was expecting them to say ok well we will get to it sometime next week and then let you know. They got to it that day and i received a phone call like a hour later on what the problem was and what they needed to do to fix it. The turn around was less than 24 hours to replace the hard drive and install all of the drivers. The staff was friendly and personable and a real breath of fresh air from what I have had to become accustom to. If you are having computer problems and need someone to fix them you want to check this place out. The prices are better than anyplace else I have seen around town as well. read more
