Took my old TV and chucked it out to who knows where, for free, so they did what they said they'd do. But let's talk about that signage out front. The place talks about some sort of "Nerd Candy" shop or something similar, which makes you think it's the business next door... but it's not. So you go in and ask about the "Nerd Candy", and if they sell candy at the tech recycling shop, but... it's just the name of their company. Then you walk back out the door and see that the same company has TWO different signs out front for TWO company names, but it's both in the same doorway and building. Finally, there's a sign that says "drop offs, use the back entrance" but this makes it sound like if you have an appointment to drop something off and leave with no explanation, you should use the back entrance, and as I had no appointment, I used the front entrance, which I got told to use the back entrance for. Better wording, like "if you have an appointment, use this entrance, if you don't, use the back" would make far more sense, but this is also a place that calls itself a brand name that sounds exactly like a candy shop at the same time as it sounds like a recycling shop. But the actual job they do, they did immaculately. No complaints there. read more

Easy to find, in and out in minutes, helpful workers, assisting with the unloading of a large tv. This outfit is partly funded by the state, part of a program to avoid inappropriate disposal of electronics. When you buy one of those big screen, smart tv's, you pay a small fee to help the fund which supports companies like this. Well worth it. I had given away another old tv that was not a smart one, but this one had our sign in information on it so giving it away was not an option. Drove in without an appointment, saw the front door with excellent signage, directing me to the back side of the building, where the workers took over, had me sign my address and phone number, and finished! read more

Dropped off a toaster oven and some electric razors, no charge. They could do with a large sign at the entrance of the parking lot so they're easier to find. Look for the large containers of recycled goods outside their unit. read more

I visited the website and they seem to have the lowest prices around for appliances and took a bunch of other stuff for free. I was so lucky to find this place, I took 3 computer monitors we had stored in a closet for years plus a box of very very old phone chargers and other types of cords and they simply made me fill out a form, sign and took it away. No fee. I am aware for some items they do charge which is completely understandable but this time no fee. Friendly staff, fast and efficient service. You can get pretty much anything from desktops, laptops, monitors, internal & external components and other electronic office supplies here. What you see on the shelf is not all, if you need a particular part and they will try their best to dig them out and test them for you. They have a huge collection of parts that are just too good to be thrown away. I already built many powerful desktops (+5) for my family and friends using the parts I got here which are all still running strong. This place is great. If you are looking for a used computer look no further. I was in the market to buy a used computer for my living room, I saw tuns of junk on craigslist. Then I found this place and they helped me find the right computer for a great price. I had some issues with the computer when I got home and they were helpful in getting it fixed and said I could trade in the computer for another one if I wanted. Great customer service. If you are looking to get rid of old computer products. Give the old computer products to this place so that they can be reused again by someone like me. I needed two large monitors so I could "work from home" one day per week, and have a setup similar to what I have at work. I found this place and got what I needed for a garage-sale price (cheaper than Craigslist, or ebay) The man I worked with (owner?) bent over backwards to make sure I was happy. He set up a place for me to test the monitors, and gave me my choice of cables for free. He even said I could come back and swap things out if I needed different cables or had problems with the monitors (no problems. They had such an overwhelming variety of stuff in there that I felt like a kid in a candy store with fist-full of birthday money. I ended up finding a better keyboard and mouse than I had been using for so cheap that I just impulse-bought them. Yesterday I got a used laptop and some network stuff for cheap, and he took the time to upgrade the RAM for me, and install the replacement hard drive.
