But for the regular stuff the prices are fair and the staff here always seem to be on the ball, hustling but not racing, they have time to help and they all seem happy to do so. Often many of them don't know anything about the how-to of things. Don't bother asking something like if this carrier bolt stronger than that one, which gague wire is right for a specifi project, or why a screw has a steeper twist and rotation. They don't seem to know. But they do want to help and they do know what they do have on hand most of the time. Occasionally we will come across someone who is passionate about the department they work in. I would give them four stars however they often mis the mark on services. Like having tiles installed, siding, or an applaince. The contractors are all subcontractors and not Lowe's employees. Sometimes this ties thier hands form doing a better job beacues they have to confomr to Lowe's rules. Other times the store struggles to get the dates right or offer services they don't even sell and you don't learn about it until no one shows up for a job and you have to chase them down. This has happened to us several times on projects often wasting days or weeks.

It was supposed to be delivered Sunday of course my place was the last stop. Well I get a email saying they were unable to deliver my fridge so they pushed me back until Tuesday. So when I called back to see why I've been pushed back another 2 days all I got was they didn't know why it wasn't delivered on the date I asked for. I don't understand the logistics on bringing my appliance from 45 miles away when I had bought it from my local store. Just doesn't make since. So the next time I need any appliances I'll make sure that it's not coming from this store.
