Up In Smoke - Vape Shops Near Me - Gretna, Louisiana

I was so excited to patronize a small local business and purchase my very first hookah. My friend and I (who also purchased her own hookah) drove all the way from the heart of New Orleans to Terrytown. Unfortunately, this extreme up-sell by a local business has left me disheartened to say the least. If the hookah was about a $20-$30 increase in price, I could totally stomach that. However, up-selling by $60 when the hookah is priced at $39.99 on amazon now that is insane. I could only imagine what the actual wholesale cost of this model is. If you are considering making your way to Up In Smoke Terrytown -- I would strongly suggest saving your time, gas, and hard-earned money by sourcing another hookah supplier or local business. What a shame--I posted the hookah + tagged the shop on social media. Quickly, a follower asked for additional information. After forwarding the info, photos, and the price point the follower informed on the huge price difference from the hookah found on amazon. Whew! What a way to take advantage of your customers. Stopped in on my way back home and asked about THCA Pre-Rolls. Was told by the no kid behind the counter that pre-rolls are illegal in Louisiana, and that they don't carry THCA flower because it contains synthetics. Both of these are completely false. Won't be back. read more

Owner and staff are always super helpful, even helped with simple device issues that I couldn't figure out.

Very pleased with this business. It was my boyfriends birthday and he wanted to grab a couple of vapes. The gentlemen was quiet helpful and nice about everything. Gave us advices on what was good and what not to my boyfriends palette. The credit card machine was down when we came in but it was fine since we carried cash at the moment. They had a variety of different things and was worth our drive. Overall, it was pretty dope, we'll be back for sure. read more

This shop is tucked in the inside corner of a small strip mall and has anything and everything you could possibly want for vaping! The employee was super knowledgeable and even tested my battery to make sure everything was working properly. They have an awesome rewards program and 10% off for first responders. What a great shop! Stop in if you ever need anything for vaping! read more

Love this place! They always take care of me and all of my vape and tobacco needs. The staff is so friendly and informative, it's the service and wide variety of products that keep me coming back! It's the best vape/headshop on the Westbank and I wouldn't recommend any other place! read more

This has been my go to shop since 2020, it's always the same staff who after a few visits they're quick to remember who you are. I've bought maybe 3- water pipes from them and each one was high quality at a good price, and their selection of tobacco products is immaculate, from rare raw bud wraps that I've only seen once to any kind of cigar you may need read more

I typically have good to great service here as they have so many juice options and make sure they get to you as quickly as possible. However today was very different. I bought a new vape pen last week and it has been leaking. I went in for advice and best practices (never to blame them for selling a defective product) but the tall blonde white guy immediately started cutting me off when I was explaining the problems I was having. He told me to expect leakage and I shouldn't leave it in my hot car (um I never do). He told me that's what I should expect "living in a hot state". I was trying to understand my vape pen from what I thought was knowledgeable and helpful staff, not get cut off over and over bc he didn't have the patience to explain. Overall, this isn't the best place for you if you're a beginner in vapes. It's just too much hit and miss with customer service. read more

Great selection of juices, water pipes and backwoods cigars. Also the staff is super friendly. Great spot

I will NEVER come back to this store. Finding out that I paid full price for a knock off piece of junk really drives me nuts, not only that but they are selling products that are potentially dangerous or harmful without even knowing what they're doing. Staff is a complete joke, head shop type junk. I wish people who sold you vaping stuff actually knew what they were talking about. There's tons of actual dedicated Vape shops in the area and this place is just trying to cram as much different stuff in there as they can. They need to go away and make room for honest hard working people read more

Wish these Vape Shops would get a website showing the products they carry. I think it would be good for their business and help consumers. (Also it's a business tax deduction). It would be nice to see online if they carried certain e-liquids and products without having to drive there. It's 2021...(Just sayin) ! read more

Went when they first opened not much inventory but the guy running the store was nice and professional and said his inventory would hopefully grow in due time. A year later the store has a great inventory and a nice shop. read more

There are two particular employees that I have a lot of respect for, but then there is another guy with a bald head that is rude. I used to spend lots of money at this store, but until the bald dude leaves, I won't be going back unfortunately. read more
