Mushroom has the best used vinyl section I've ever seen. So many desirable titles in excellent condition. The prices are LOW. New vinyl for $25 that I saw for $40 in Dallas last week. Watch out for one way streets getting outta there if your driving; it can be confusing a block up where you can't turn right or left due to the meeting of two one way streets in opposite directions. The man working, who I believe is also the owner or manager, was very friendly and patient. At the time, the shop was also very well set up for COVID precautions, with a hand sanitizer station and service at the door, and the clerk helping me being gloved. He was beyond helpful as I made my selection, and I was also shocked by how inexpensive the beautiful piece I bought turned out to be - I would have spent double the cost for it. It has been durable (despite being glass and dropped by me a couple times) and I've gotten compliments on it. I've since taken a couple of friends to this place, and had similarly pleasant experiences. Definitely recommend.

I searched the area to find a place to buy a pack of cigarettes, this was the closest I got. Showed up and there were two other people in the store, I had a bit of a wait, but I didn't mind. I wasn't here to do anything else but buy a pack of cigarettes. My turn and I get to interact with the employee finally. I'm not going to lie, he was looking like he was having a bad day and could quite possibly rip my head off. But it was all a facade. I had a pleasant interaction and ended up chatting with him a bit. Even cracked some jokes back and forth. Of course I was floored by the fact that cigarettes were cheaper than back in Pennsylvania. Almost made me want to buy several more before I headed back home.
