Small Japanese izakaya near Canary Wharf. Pleasant enough but definitely only an option if you live nearby and really need some sashimi because the prices aren't worth the experience.
On entry you can tell this is a no frills izakaya with few tables. On a summer day it was a bit stuffy and cramped so you probably aren't going to want to hang out here. Service was pleasant.
The food is mostly fine. Sashimi was fresh and tasty. The issue is the cost: 28gbp for tuna and toro? I think you can get better chutoro at Tokii in the heart of pricey Marylebone for 1/2 that price, and have it in a nice space.
