Whether you're lifting heavy, hitting cardio, or doing functional training, they've got everything you need. Quite spacious with separated areas for Leg equipment/squat platforms, glute area, and even a separate floor for boxing & a posing room. Had a hell of a workout on my visit at Smash Fitness. At one point, I had an encounter with another couple at the gym where I was threatened. I immediately brought the situation to the attention of the front desk staff, but nothing was done about it. After that, this couple continued approaching me in the parking lot almost every time I would come to the gym. I shouldn't have to feel uncomfortable or scared simply walking into a place where I'm paying to work out. My gym time is supposed to be my time to focus, relax, and take care of myself--not a place where I have to worry about being approached or threatened by other members. I expected the staff to take my concerns seriously and help make the environment feel safe, but unfortunately, that did not happen. I also ended up leaving a Google review about my experience, and afterward, the owner had the manager approach me about it to remove it. Unfortunately, I felt that I was given inaccurate information about much of the situation with a male figure that was taking photos from his phone! Over the years, the gym has also become extremely overcrowded--almost unbearable at times--and it became increasingly difficult to get a workout in without having to wait for equipment. More recently, I had an issue with the new payment system. I had cancelled one of my credit cards that was being used for my gym membership and forgot to update the payment information, which was my mistake. I contacted ABC Fitness, updated my payment information, and paid the amount that was owed. The payment went through on my end. Then I received another call saying that I still owed money. I was confused because I had just paid, so I paid it again and updated my banking information. I also cancelled my membership, and I was told that everything had been taken care of. Then ABC Fitness contacted me again. At that point, I was understandably frustrated, so I called the gym directly. I was told that I needed to come in and pay again--even though I had already paid twice and had cancelled my membership. And to this day, ABC Fitness STILL continues to call me regarding the payment. I never had these kinds of issues until they switched to the new payment system. After nearly 4.5 years of being a member, it's extremely disappointing that this is how my experience ended. I haven't been back since.

I will say that this is a smaller 24 hour gym, so it obviously won't compete with LifeTime, Crunch, or Vasa; however, it was definitely adequate. You can easily make do and rip a solid lift for any and all muscle groups. One major piece of advice: try to go at a time when no one is there. If there are more than a few people there, you'll probably have to wait on equipment - luckily I didn't have to wait, but I could foresee that being an issue. Coach Marcus was awesome about introducing me and the members immediately embraced the "new guy" as one of their own. If that was all I had to say about Lawless, that'd be reason enough to give it a try but the combination of the AWESOME vibe of the gym, and EXCELLENT coaching just put this place over the top. She gave me a full tour, walked me through the schedule, set me up with a mat and towel and explained everything I needed to know about the sauna and what to expect. She even checked in on me halfway through my session just to make sure I was good. At the end she took the time to go over all my membership options knowing I'm from out of town but trying to stay on top of my fitness. That kind of attention and care goes a long way. The free class was a great way to experience everything and I left genuinely impressed. If you haven't tried it yet, go. You won't regret it.
