I was extremely grateful because this would have stopped me from proceeding with my mechanical engineering degree. One thing to consider when coming here is that you need to come prepared to learn. Some tutors get paid to help you do you homework and some actually fill in the blanks from what goes over your head in class, which is infinitely more valuable. If you want someone to do your homework for you than this might not be the place for you. Buffalo Academy has lecture notes for most of the common courses so you can be sure that they know exactly what your professors are lecturing almost down to the day. One thing that Buffalo Academy offers is higher priced options for guarenteed grades in a class. At first I wasn't so sure about this but they have years of statistics to prove they are worth their word. On top of this, the academy offers invaluable career development programs for business students that you absolutely will not get on campus...period. Although it has a high sticker price, they have a plethora of proven success stories and many of their past students are available for you to reach out and hear about their experience for themselves. Overall you can't go wrong with Buffalo Academy as long as you take it seriously and put in required effort. Hold yourself accountable for your own education and success!!

If you press on REVIEWS NOT RECOMMENDED at the bottom of the review section, you will see so many great reviews. Why the bad reviews are the only ones being publicized is ridiculous! My son has been going to Huntington for many years, from grade school until present. He is now preparing for ACT/SAT. Melissa, the owner, is down to earth, honest, passionate, and by all means, she completely cares about the students in the program. Yes, it is expensive, but our experience is overwhelmingly positive. Our personal experiences: * My son always comes home feeling more confident and really does like attending. * He has never once complained about any of the teachers, although he has his favorites! * The staff is always available to answer any questions or address concerns. * Once in High School, I insisted that my son schedule his own study sessions, to teach him responsibility and autonomy. I imagine it was a bit of a headache for the staff at first, but they never once complained and supported my philosophy. * Over the years, my son's organization, attitude and study skills improved to the point that he now uses Huntington 'as needed' when he finds himself struggling in a class. He also attends weekly for college prep study. *The staff will even meet with your child's teachers to make sure that all those involved are working together for a common plan. There are many other positives, but I think my above testimony is enough to express my views. When a parent sees their child struggle, it can be painful. We worry about their self confidence, their feelings of self worth, their future etc. Huntington not only addresses the student's issues but the parent's concerns as well! When we began homeschooling my younger two boys (3rd grade and 5 grade) both need tutoring for Reading. My 5th grader was diagnosed with dyslexia and I was lost in how to help him with his reading. I was so grateful when we reconnected with Beth. I have seen immense growth in my boys reading levels since working with Beth. My older of the two despised reading. Today he reads on his own non stop.
