Charged a credit card two months before the patient was ever seen. Getting that money back after…read moremultiple emails and calls has been nearly impossible. Those two facts alone tell you everything you need to know. Contact was made in the second week of April to schedule a new patient appointment for asthma-related issues. The earliest available date was May 26, over a month away. On May 16, before a single visit had taken place, charges were applied for both April and May. The patient was seen at urgent care in the meantime and still plans to establish regular care here given the location works after a recent move to Denison, TX. After this experience, that plan is now in serious question. The appointment was cancelled to resolve the billing issue. A refund was promised by May 18. Four follow ups were made across emails and calls, each time receiving the same assurance. It is now Thursday and not a single dollar has been returned. To top it off, an email came in asking for the patient's name, information that had already been provided multiple times. Disorganized, unresponsive, and unbothered sums it up well. Charging before any care is provided, then making patients fight for their own refund after 4 follow ups, is unethical and unprofessional. Go in with your eyes open.

In two instances I've required a referral and even though my insurance doesn't that I have a referral, the office has a "referral coordinator" that handles that. I have waited 2 weeks for an appointment with the dr I was referred to. They still have not received my records and there is nothing I can do but wait. When I called to report my symptoms were worse and to get an update I was told I needed to just wait. As soon as this issue is resolved I will find another pcp. I like Kristen but I need someone who can help me when I need it.

But even with having to be a little tough at times with patients like me that is afraid of getting blood drawn, she still makes me glad she is my doctor. Because she will make sure that both her and her wonderful staff will not let me forget what lab tests I need done. I saw a different GP in Southlake before coming to see Dr Sharif and it's because of this other doctor that I know I'm lucky that Dr Sharif is on my side. The other doctor didn't care at all what happened to me during one of the most stressful times in my life. The other doctor didn't want the complicated patients. But Dr Sharif doesn't seem to shy away from patients that may be hurting both physically and mentally. Anyway, Dr Sharif is by far the best GP/Internist I've found in the area.
