I explained to the team beforehand that he can be very reactive around other dogs, and from the moment we arrived, everyone was so kind, understanding, patient, and compassionate. Leaving him and walking away was not easy for me, but the team kept me updated and reassured me about how well he was doing. That communication made such a difference and helped me feel confident that he was in good hands. When I came back to pick him up, Ghost was a happy little boy--and it was obvious that everyone had completely fallen in love with him! Seeing how comfortable and happy he was was honestly the best reassurance I could have asked for. What meant the most to me was how personable everyone was and how genuinely they understood my perspective as a dog mom. They never made me feel like I was being overly anxious; instead, they listened, reassured me, and treated both Ghost and me with so much kindness. Ghost had such a positive first experience, and I couldn't be happier. Because of this experience, I'm now bringing all three of my dogs back for their own spa days going forward! I highly recommend Diana's Wet N' Wild Dog Wash to any dog parent looking for people who truly care about making their dogs feel safe, comfortable, and loved.

He's a 140 lb mastiff and usually needs sedation at the vet because of his size, strength, and anxiety -- most people are honestly scared of him. I was so surprised (in the best way) when Diana and her crew immediately offered to do his nail trim. I even asked, "Are you sure?" and they said, "Absolutely." His nails were starting to curve, which was completely my fault, but they handled him with such ease and confidence. They weren't scared of him at all, even when he was freaking out. They also offered a full cleaning with all the works, and I'm beyond pleased with the outcome. Everyone was so sweet, personable, and professional, and they made the entire experience stress-free. I'm SO happy I no longer need to take him to the vet and sedate him just for a nail trim. They're going to save me so much time and money. I couldn't recommend Diana's Wet N Wild Dog Wash more!

From day one, the communication, reliability, and genuine care have stood out. My dog is not easy to walk just because of his size. Olivia took the time to meet him and assess him and found the best dog walker that would fit my dogs needs. Jen is our dog walker and she is truly exceptional. You can tell she doesn't just "walk dogs" -- she really connects with them. My dog lights up every time Jen arrives, and that peace of mind is priceless. Jen is attentive, patient, and always goes the extra mile, whether it's making sure my dog gets the right amount of exercise or sending thoughtful updates and photos after each walk. The report cards she writes are my favorite part of my work days. It's rare to find someone you trust completely with your pet, but Jen and Olivia have earned that trust and more. If you're looking for a dog walker or pet trainer who treats your dog like their own, this is the company -- and Jen and Olivia are a big reason why.

I usually don't post reviews but I felt compelled to do so because it was excellent prior posts that led me to consider Baldwin Place Animal Hospital. My dogs are family members and I expect them to be treated that way. After years of using a different veterinary hospital and having my dog's primary vet changed multiple times due to turnover, and always feeling like the vet had one foot out the door to the next patient, I had had it. I started looking into vets in the Mahopac/Carmel area and after reading comments posted for BPAH I decided to bring my dog to meet Dr. Haims and find out his style of care, personality, and his vaccination philosophy. Needless to say, 3 years later my only regret is that I didn't change vets much, much sooner. Dr. Haims is an outstanding vet! He and his entire staff are friendly, caring and compassionate for pets and their owners. Dr. Haims is thorough and listens. He does not push over-vaccination, takes into consideration the pet's health, and is agreeable to titering. He takes time to answer questions and provide advice and details all options for treatment and their estimated costs. He knew my dog, his personality, his health and his issues. I NEVER felt like he was in a hurry to get to his next patient. I also greatly appreciated that everything wasn't focused on expansive testing and treatment but instead took a less invasive and tiered approach. He would say, "Lets start with this first and see the results" and expand steps as needed and if absolutely necessary. He returns calls to discuss results, treatments, and any concerns. On the rare occasion of a cut paw or emergency he fit Bailey in to assess and address the situation. He also consulted with specialists, as needed, on test results and treatment for our Bailey. When Bailey required use of an eye specialist Dr. Haims suggested an excellent doctor. No matter what the situation was, my family and I knew we could turn to Dr. Haims and his team for help, answers, and advice. We are grateful for their outstanding care for our Bailey and have and would continue to recommend Baldwin Place Animal Hospital to others!

We have been patients for years and had an upcoming appointment scheduled, and I called to let them know that she had died. While they canceled the appointment, I never received a phone call, email, or even a simple condolence card acknowledging our loss. Losing a beloved pet is heartbreaking, and I expected at least a small gesture of sympathy from a practice that had cared for her. Compassion is just as important as medical care, and unfortunately, this experience left me feeling that our relationship as clients meant very little. I hope the practice will consider how much a few kind words can mean to grieving pet owners because this is really despicable.
