Even with 25 seconds to fill for a commercial, we were really impressed with how they took our commercial and made it look sleek and creative even when the subject matter wasn't (Free Tax Prep). Kevin led the team on our shoot day and the team was awesome. Super impressed by a gimbal shot they got with our building's signage and two subjects entering the building. It was a difficult shot but they had the talent to not only get it, but continue to get takes until they got it perfect. They were communicative, they listened to feedback and ultimately delivered on every expectation that we had. Our commercial could've easily looked amateurish, but thanks to the KJ2 Productions team, we have something we can be proud of. I was looking at some post production photography work, and was really impressed with many of the photos. I had no idea that the gentleman that I was speaking to was the photographer himself. He was so incredibly humble and gracious to put up with my questions. This guy has a great eye. I started chatting with Erik about all of the fun things that his company does. I mentioned to him that I have a friend who has started her own business, and really needed help to advertise her " new baby". I guess I'm always very skeptical about linking people together, and whether or not there is going to be follow through. I was blown away by not only how quickly Erik reached out to my friend, but he had already scheduled a meeting, and was working on potential layouts for her to look at for their meeting. Who does this?! Erik does! Erik really puts 100% of himself into everything that he does, & his efforts truly show. We all have those special life events that happened, or we have friends that have life events going on, and we're always in need of a great photographer. I didn't know what to expect from a $40/1 hr deal, and had never heard of XSIGHT before. But I looked at their website & FB page for previous shoots, and was pleased with their work. The Folsom location is out of the way for me as I live on the border of Elk Grove in Sacramento. But I definitely picked the right location with the scenery of Folsom as our backdrop. I had a great experience. Our photographer was Carlos and from the being he was friendly, social and seemed like he wanted to be there. He asked me if there were any places that I liked to go for backdrops and suggested some places. He even joked with my boys which I think made them feel more comfortable for our session. Within our hour session, we were able to get in pictures with 4 outdoor backdrops and 1 indoor shoot. My families photo viewing was just as good of a experience, because I finally got to see how our pictures looked....and I was pleased with how the photos turned out. The viewing session was very relaxed, Chris played the slide show and we even got to talking about my work as a Graphic Designer. Because Chris got to know of my background with photo editing and photography as well, he gave me my 8x10 on the CD I purchased. Which I thought was great because I could retouch it myself, and wasn't made to feel pressured to get the retouched 8x10 for an additional fee. He was even cool enough to give me the pictures I purchased in raw (Hi-Res) format, since I had worked with them before. With the Groupon deal being $40/1hr session & a CD of all images taken. As a Graphic Designer I thought that was an absolute steal, but after the shoot I found out that the CD was only for low res/web quality images. I was a little disappointed since I didn't see that noted in terms/conditions of the deal. If I overlooked that then of course that's on me, but I don't think I did. So it's the only reason I couldn't give 5 stars.
