After the event, I hired them right away to rework my offline resume and then on to my LinkedIn page. The team was timely and catered to every question I had. Tellus Recruiting truly changed my life…read more After spending months stuck in a toxic workplace with power and emotional harassment, I worked with Tellus Recruiting for about three months while receiving career counseling. Having three female recruiters--who are also moms--made the process feel supportive, safe, and even fun. I never felt alone during my job search, and it truly felt like a team effort. I was able to leave a temporary job and find a position in a healthy, positive work environment. I've been at my new job for almost a month now and feel confident this is a place I can stay long-term. I especially want to thank Yukari, Natsue and Narumi for their constant support and kindness throughout this process. What really sets Tellus apart is their aftercare. Even after I was hired, they continue to check in and genuinely care. I'm incredibly grateful to the Tellus team and highly recommend them to anyone who needs real support during a career transition.

Searching for jobs is an emotional process, and having at least some sense of consideration for the…read morecandidate should be something recruiters do. I contacted Tellus to help me find work in a different industry than the one I was previously in, and Narumi helped me out a lot with ways to edit my resume. She even got me an interview. However, both parties ghosted me - both the employer who interviewed me AND Tellus/Narumi. Both told me they'd get back by the following week and no communication. She ignored my emails and texts and gave me absolutely zero follow up about the job. What a waste, not only of my time, but of my emotions. Basic communication should be a given. This was inconsiderate and unprofessional.

So, I originally wrote this review almost four months ago. Julie LaCroix saw the review and…read moreresponded to it. However, did she do anything to make sure she answered the main element of the complaint (that she won't stop spamming me in spite of numerous requests over the years - including those apparently only decorative "unsubscribe" links in her emails?). No. Screen shot for proof. Draw what conclusions you will. Original Review and Comment on Response: I had two appointments with Julie LaCroix several years ago. I ultimately thought the sessions were a waste of time and (quite a lot of) money. She decided my skill set made me a particularly good fit for a specific type of job, and she disregarded my repeated protests that the job in question went against my moral values. She made up her mind and was incapable of hearing anything that didn't align with her first (somewhat arbitrary seeming) idea. She ended our last session by throwing together a ridiculous, typo-ridden resume in a couple minutes targeted at a position I had made clear I would not apply for. (Since that time I finished my graduate degree and am working in a suitable career.) After our second meeting, I was ready to move on and not give career therapists another thought. I have not had that luxury, however, since Julie LaCroix has spammed me and stalked me on social media ever since. Every couple years, I get re-added to her email list which I have never given her permission to put me on, and she has not responded to messages asking her to desist. She also periodically tries to connect with me on social media (she is undeterred by my refusal to connect with her, and, again, does not respond to messages asking her to desist in contacting me). I understand that she thinks networking will help grow her business. I don't understand why she thinks harassing people and ignoring them when they object would be beneficial to anyone. Given her systematic abuse of my personal information, however, I am no longer surprised that she could not process my objection to an unethical career. **Regarding Response** Notice the non-denial regarding the abusive email practices I describe. Also note the absence of a statement that she would address this matter and make sure I am not re-added to her list again in the future. The rest is a matter of he-said-she-said, but why, after 11 years, would I have reason to think of her--much less make random false claims in a review? I would encourage her to check her email (julie@julielacroix.com) to see that I have, in fact, contacted her multiple time over the past 11 years to ask that she stop re-adding me to her spam list. She has also found me years after using her (dis)services and tried to get me to engage with her professional profiles on Facebook and Instagram over the years. The dishonesty/lack of integrity in her response here is appalling.

Jayde, on the other hand, didn't give me any of those pitches instead just hustled.  She booked me for an interview on the first day she contacted me, March 13, and have gone to another interview since that first one. Already that's more than any recruiter has ever gotten me.  Usually, I get one then I don't hear from them again.   She walks the talk of other recruiters.  Speaking of walk, she has also walked me into each one of my interviews which not only gives me some much-needed confidence but a certain reassurance that she's here for me and looking out for my best interest.  Even her emails to me far exceed my expectations. And my expectations are based on my past experiences. Jayde emails me information about the company and person who is interviewing me and she includes interview pointers and a little "heads up" of what the employer is looking for or not looking for.  She includes advice on what to say or avoid saying based on the information she was given by the employer which no recruiter has ever done. I've had other recruiter give me tips like "you should check the company website and also look up your interviewer". Jayde of OSTechnical also gave me that same advice but she took it up a notch by providing me the website and LinkedIn web address in a clickable hyperlink. It's those little things that shows me that she wants this process to go as smoothly as possible for me. I can't say enough great things about her and OSTechnical. OST has definitely found themselves a keeper with Jayde and left me very impressed. I'm making them my go to for my employment needs without a doubt.
