        Unofficial Mac specialises in logic board component level repair. We conduct all repairs to Apple Mac computers including screens. If you are told your mac is dead and needs a new logic board, then chances are we can fix it more often than not.

        History

        Established in 1999.

        When we started our business we were just a little computer shop servicing and repairing computers in the back streets of Currimundi in QLD Australia. At that time we were just another computer shop. My history growing up was in electronics and constructing ciruit boards to perform various tasks at a component level. Using old telephones converted at battery chargers for household battieries, making car alarms and automatic lights to name a few. I wanted to fix computers at the component level. So i sold my partnership and started a new kind of business in 2001. From there we have developed and recently rebranded to reflect the 99% of work we do on Apple Mac products. We are now Unofficial Mac. We can push the limits of your mac reliably beyond its design specs at greater speeds than dreamed by apple at the time of their design. Repairing now what others deem impossible is our every day.

        I am the owner and lead tech of Unofficial Mac. I do not fit what people may think is the computer geek image. I love to be out road and trail bike riding. I am a keen photographer and love creativity. This is what makes me good at what i do.
