I shouldn't have to go to the back alley and still not be able to get in.

What a great independent pet retail store! The Pet Stuff Place is located at the bottom of Happy…read moreCanyon Rd. which I absolutely LOVE driving down from I-25. The owner is super friendly and is very knowledgeable in her products, which are of the best quality. Her prices are very competitive, and she will even match prices from Petco or Petsmart if you find that same item for lower. Also, she has a teeth cleaning day (vet?) who comes every couple of months and clean your dogs teeth, WITHOUT anesthesia, that you sign up for. Apparently this service is VERY popular and their customers rave about it. The price for this cleaning service is somewhere around $150-$160.... which everyone who's ever had their dog's teeth cleaned is NOTHING compared to the $500-$800 (or more) a vet would charge with anesthesia! I have yet to try it myself, but I'm just waiting for the next visiting time. You will seriously walk out of this place with a great feeling that you're helping the "little guys" survive in this craziness of big box stores. She pretty much sells a little of everything, and if you can't find something... just ask. She brings new things in and likes to hear from her customers what they want to see in her store. Absolutely worth a stop in!

One of the first things I noticed in there was a display of "Dog Beer". I just thought it was hilarious so I asked about it and turns out there are good things in it for the dog so we decided to pick one out to bring back for our girls to be able to share a beer with Ben. While talking with the shop employee we learned about a lot of the different treats they have for dogs and how there are so many health benefits for them from things you wouldn't think of so we also decided to get some chicken and duck feet for them, along with something else that I can't remember the name of but he was most helpful. He also let us know that they will be opening a shop in Tampa soon, it will be in South Tampa and I keep checking the website but hasn't opened just yet but I am excited to become a customer of theirs once they are!

I have been a customer of Pet Wants for about four years now. I met Jess Green at a Pet Expo. She…read morehad a cute booth and was very knowledgeable of her product. At the time I had two dachshunds, one with a sensitive tummy. I wanted to find something that they could both eat. I also expressed that they both were constant paw lickers. I read that it could be due to an ingredient in their food. Jess gave me a free sample and the girls LOVED it. After trying multiple expensive Vet recommended brands that my pups did not love, I knew that we had to give it a try. Within weeks they both gradually stoped excessively licking their paws and their coats were noticeably more shiny. I felt good knowing they were eating fresh nutritious food. We were shocked at the results and extremely happy! The ordering process is easy and getting set up online was a breeze. After receiving a few orders at work my coworkers had questions. Jess was happy to speak with them and give them a sample as well. Now multiple of us order from her and we couldn't be happier. My vet recommended we switch my girls to a senior brand. When I showed her the ingredients in the Pet Wants senior kibble she was impressed. The Customer Service I receive from Jess is always above and beyond. She truly cares about you and your pets needs. Two years ago, one of my girls gained her angel wings. When I cut my order in half and told Jess the heart breaking news, she honored my girl on her page and gave me a thoughtful memorial piece. Jess feels like family. My sweet pup loves the food and Pet Wants delivers for free. What more could you want?!

We told the representative that our dog was pretty picky with snacks and treats, and we were made sample treat pouches that we could go home and give to him to find what he liked the most. We have never been treated so well in a store before and offered options to take home and try first. This was amazing. While we were at the bonetique, we noticed that there was a dog meet up, which was extremely cute. I definitely recommend chewy's Bonetique. They had many Colorado made treats for dogs. This is an amazing store that many people should check out.
