ZERO STARS would be ideal. I stopped by today, Sunday September 7th on my way from San Luis Obispo to LA. I got gas and went inside to get a soda and a snack. The sign inside the cooler said two (2) 16oz bottles of coke for $4.59 if you are part of their rewards program when you buy 2 16oz bottles of coke you get the 3rd bottle free. I got 3 bottles and a bag of sunflowers. Went to the register and the older Hispanic man behind the counter said $11.59. I was surprised so I mentioned that the sign said two bottles for $4.59 and if you are a member of their rewards, the third bottle is free. So he said oh OK enter your number, (which I believe that should be the first thing he should ask when you walk up to the register, but that's just me). So I entered my number and the new total is $11.29. So I said the total hasn't changed too much. The three bottles should be $4.59 plus the $3.19 for the sunflowers plus tax. His reply was well I don't know, so WHATEVER. Whatever? Really? That's your reply?!. Too bad I had already pumped gas, otherwise I would not have given them my business. Needless to say I did not get the soda or the sunflowers, I went to the next gas station. He was very rude, I always think if you're not happy with your job find a new one specially when you're dealing with customers. read more

lady with glasses that works most mornings changes the price and manually inputs things instead of scanning them. I've been coming for a month daily before work and sometimes after and she's the only one who does this I just got charged $5 more on an item I've been getting daily. not sure why she's working there or at all if she doesn't understand English or Spanish fully. read more

I'm not a confrontational person at all - but the man working at this store was so aggressive I had to verbally defend myself. I paid cash for my gas (part of which was quarters) - he made a big deal about it and got in my face when I said "money is money right?" I'm a small statured woman, and this guy even ran after me in the parking lot. read more

Hello, my name is Nick. I work at this gas station. I have reddish/light hair. I've seen some reviews on here and to be honest I'm appalled to see some of the complaints that people have wrote about. I'm sorry to hear that so many people had bad experiences. I only work in the afternoon. But I am there every weekend in the afternoon until 10pm. Or you can simply message me on here. Once again, I'm so sorry to hear the complaints I read but I promise if u bring it to my attention I WILL MAKE SURE it gets taken care of. I had Ruben as my cashier and he was extremely rude and unprofessional. Will not ever come back to this station, and I advise you to choose a brand other than Chevron as well. read more

Hardworking and friendly staff. It's at a convenient location for travelers in Goleta. They work hard to keep the place well-maintained. The clerk was very polite and attentive when I stopped by yesterday. read more

I had an oil leak so I called a few gas stations around. Not from the area. The man who answered the phone said they had the oil I needed. I got there and did NOT have it. When I confronted him about not having the oil on the phone he said "then don't call here" which made absolutely no sense. And I said then don't give me misinformation and he said then don't fucking come here. I'm a 27 young girl, and a this was a man in his 50s... rude and treated me like dog shit. read more

Warning: This is another boring gas station review. I filled up on premium fuel while failing to realize that I was paying 30¢ per gallon (or more) than other nearby stations. I didn't even notice if they had a restroom. read more

It isn't always the cheapest (quite the contrary) but I used to have a Chevron card so this was a no brainer. Not only did I come to this location for gas but for food, Reality Bites style. No joke. I remember coming home with bags full of groceries. Snacks more like it... I was a regular here and it is the most convenient place to fill gas whether you want to admit it or not. I always stopped en route to go home to Monterey. read more

DO NOT BUY GAS HERE. It is so expensive while there are cheaper gas stations no more than 2 miles away. Even if your gas light is on, walk to another gas station if you have to and buy a gallon before you come here. It isn't worth it. The only thing this gas station can be useful for, like any other gas station, is to check the air on your tires. In California, air is free! Even if it says "$1.00" on the machine, all you have to do is go up to the cashier and ask him/her to turn on the air. They can't say no ;) Helpful tip for ya if you didn't know! read more

Expensive but great location. Avoid it if you can but sometimes you have to fill up where the gas station is. This is convenient and that's why it still is able to do business despite the gouging. read more

Couldnt believe the way this counter attendant spoke to me, when i called back to ask for the manager the dude hung up on me. what a dork coward. this place will never get another dime from me. read more

Didn't get gas, popped in for snacks before getting back to a long drive. Ruben, the cashier, had no interest in answering our questions and really could care less about providing good customer service. I'm sure it's a boring job, but give your customers a little interest and energy! Also, don't trust the sale signs, he'll argue you on those. read more

Not only do they charge a lot more than anyone else in town, they rig their pumps! I had to go due to an emergency, I thought that a gallon or so would get me enough to stop beeping. I squeezed the pump for less than a few seconds (maybe 15) and it said 1.6 gallon. i thought that's the fastest pump I've ever used! but it turns out that didn't even move my gas gauge one bit. I have a prius so it's pretty easy to tell. They rob you on the price per gallon and at the meter. And they haven't done anything to fix the place up! There are pot holes everywhere. Highway Robbery! read more

If I could give 0 stars for this gas station/mini mart I would. The heavyset younger man with overgrown facial hair (usually has headphones on, sweaty and dirty looking) is seriously THE rudest person and has zero people skills . So impolite, it's off the charts. Acting as if he hates his life and wanta to share his negative energy with any unfortunate customer who walks in. The customer service is almost always terrible with the exception of 1 employee who has reddish/light hair. He is the ONLY employee that is nice and professional. There was also a female employee who was cursing at people when I stopped to get gas a couple of months ago. She seemed high on something....super frantic as if on some type of drug or ? It's no wonder people are being replaced more & more by technology. At least if things are automated we will no longer have to be subjected to these type of people. Only gas station in the Glen Annie/Hollister vacinity but as of today it's worth my making the trip to one of the places on Fairview, etc. Hope this review & any other review from a similar witness will help the management take notice! read more

This place stole $18.26 from my daughter! And they won't even pick up their phone!!! She paid for gas using Apple Pay which they accept! The money was taken from her account and she was even able to show him that on her phone. But he told her is was declined and he would not give her the gas she paid for. He was also very rude to her! She then went out to the pump and it was working so she figured it must have gone through. Then the attendant comes running out yelling at HER! EVEN THOUGH HE made a mistake and added the gas to the wrong pump number! He told her she had to stop pumping and then pay him $6.50 that she had pumped into her car. "She said I already paid $18.26!! I don't have any money. I can't pay you" he made her call her friend and bring the money. Refused to give her $18.26 back! I have been trying to call to speak to a manager and it he phone just has a busy tone all the time. There are many negative reviews about this gas station! I think you should avoid at all costs! read more

The most expensive fuel in the entire area including Santa Barbara. Go on fairview exit for less expensive fuel. read more

Just left this horrible place. The cashier called me an asshole after I asked him to throw out a scratcher for me. I suppose I should expect this type of service from a place that milks customers by charging .50 cents to a dollar more for gas per gallon than all other gas stations. read more

Always empty, but also very expensive! Although conviently close to the house, I'm going to have to pass cOming here. Lower your prices=way more customers! read more

It's a gas station, not much else to say. Getting in and out is relatively easy. I was off and back on the freeway in less than ten minutes. Didn't go inside because the pup traveling with me wouldn't have liked that much. read more

Very clean gas station and never too packed! They are a small store and don't carry a whole lot of of mini mart goods. Overall Cheveron has good quality gas and works best for my MDX. They are very pricey so I only come here if i'm on E and don't wanna worry about running ou of gas. Overall it works. read more

Why do people buy gas here? Drive 5 minutes to Old Town and there are TWO places that are always at least FIFTY CENTS A GALLON CHEAPER. This place is a rip off, targeting students on their way out of IV. read more

Went to this gas station this morning and a guy named Brandon was very rude so I walked out and he came after me about signing a receipt started yelling at me calling me a bitch ass nigga and a piece of shit he then knocked the coffee I paid for out my hand then as I go back in to get the coffee I paid for he started getting in my face about it knocking more coffee out of my hand and all over the floor while making more racist remarks and calling names he needs to be reprimanded read more

If there were zero stars that would be my vote. Businesses that don't car about their customers should be avoided. Today this place was charging $0.55 a gallon more for regular than the shell on Carrillo St in the pricey downtown district of Santa Barbara. As one reviewer put it you feel dirty after shopping here. This is the worst kind of business and gives everyone in the service station biz a bad name. read more

Terrible experience. I had a brief interaction with the cashier were he refuse to help me and was very unpleasant. The place overall is not clean and they do not care about customer service whatsoever. read more

Too over priced. They overcharge because it is one of the first gas stations (or last) when entering or leaving the Santa Barbara area. People are not super friendly but weren't bad. The cashier always seems to have friends in there with him that he's talking to. Overall, the gas station is clean just overpriced. read more

BEWARE! Always print your receipt. Gas stations are hot spots for card readers. Used my credit card here one morning and it had no balance on it. Later that day someone tried to charge my card $920!!! I usually always print my receipts but I didn't that morning. This also happened to my boyfriend. Same situation, fraud charges the same day. read more
