PLEASE READ - In response to my review, the shop issued an additional estimate, more than 3 weeks after me picking my car up. This is THE MOST UNETHICAL REPAIR SHOP I'VE EVER ENCOUNTERED. IT'S SAD THAT PLACES LIKE THIS DRIVE UP INSURANCE PREMIUMS. EVEN THEIR EMPLOYEES SPEAK ABOUT HOW UNETHICAL AND DISHONEST THEY ARE. THEY COLLECTED MY DEDUCTIBLE AND UNPON RECEIVING MY CAR, THE DASHBOARD HAD SEVERAL MALFUNCTION ALERTS THAT THEY FAILED TO MENTION THEY WERE UNABLE TO FIX. MY CAR IS CURRENTLY AT ANOTHER SHOP ALMOST 2 MONTHS AFTER BRINGING IT TO UNIVERSE AUTO BODY. THEY ALSO QUOTED GEICO FOR REPAIRS THAT WERE NEVER COMPLETED THEY THEY WERE PAID FOR. BEWARE - Universe Auto Body Shop I've been driving for over 20 years, and this is the worst experience I've ever had with a repair shop. It's so bad that once you bring your car in, you're begging daily for a status update on when it will be repaired. After a week of being in the shop with NO update on when the parts would arrive, I asked to have my car removed; at that point, they notified me that work had started on my car, and some parts had come in, but they were waiting on a few outstanding parts. I asked them to allow me to take my vehicle to a place that would guarantee the work, and they lied again and told me that they were working on the car. This is how businesses inflate the costs of simple repairs by sending in revised estimates when they have not even performed on the vehicle. Fast forward a week later, I called, and they informed me that I needed another bumper since I had an after-market bumper on my car. I've also notified the dealership from whom I purchased the CPO vehicle to review their claims. They then promised me a completion date two weeks later and did NOT honor that date, when, less than 48 hours after receiving my car, Geico cut them a check for repairs. Lisa is great, but unfortunately, this was not enough to save the irreparable damage and loss of money the delays cost. The estimate was for less than 25 hours of work, and over two weeks later, I still have NO vehicle. A 6-day job has turned into +2 weeks; this feels like a hostage situation. I've called Geico to update the process of choosing a shop and include the reviews. Looking at the Google reviews, it's clear that I am NOT the only person who has experienced the same thing with this shop, and I should have gone with another place. This is not customer service, and it shows the lack of respect, morals, and ethics this shop shows for people giving them your business. Please check the reviews before letting any shop with availability complete your estimate. If I had done so, I would not be in the predicament I am in now. My vehicle is currently as the dealers shop, with additional costs in the thousands to correctly repair my vehicle. read more

i have been here three times. My BMW 328 was rear ended about 4 years ago, they did a great job repairing and painting it. About 2 months ago my M3 needed a touch up... excellent job blending and touching up the hood and front fender. And now my X5 was hit in the parking lot. They did an EXCELLENT job painting my cars/teuck to dealer specs... thats why i gave 4 stars.. i didnt give the 5th star because they arent the best at keeping the deadlines when they are suppose to give you your vehicle. DO NOT GO HERE! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE! I've brought my car here twice and both times when i picked it up there were damages that were not there when I dropped it off originally. They did the repairs that were on my geico claim but now there are scratches and dents all over my car! I have no idea what they were doing with my car but it looked like it had been on a joy ride of some sorts. Geico recommends this place and because of that I went a second time. The geico adjustor here is also unprofessional and did not care about the damages made by the garage. read more

Suggested through insurance claim, work done was o.k better than some others . But often left incomplete parts missing when returned, imperfections in paint that was dismissed. May have gotten 100 percent job done if I was an employee in the shop or knew someone that worked there perhaps. Felt as if I didn't get money's worth. read more
