I had been with the Samsung fam for quite some time, but after all (see most) of my friends and fam were FaceTiming...I was left out...& although it absolutely isn't the end of the world* *(see 1st world problems), it low key sucked. So I went in and spoke to a young man who was so patient with me as I asked ALL the questions regarding this upgrade and the difference (financially & technology wise) between the latest Galaxy, latest iPhone and an older-about 3 generations back, iPhone. After showing me each model and lending his expertise, I picked the best phone. I appreciate him being so friendly & knowing his stuff. I'm loving my phone and the upgrade!

He originally quoted 120-140, when I finally got him to understand that I have an iPhone 6, he "searched his inventory" for the price and told me it would be 160-180. Why are all of their prices in a range? I even informed him apple does the repair for much less and he replied, "well you should go there." I guess they dont want business? I tried to inquire more but the guy just cut me off and ended the conversation. I dont think I would trust someone as an IT or computer repair specialist that doesnt even now the difference between iPhone models. Very, very unprofessional.

I purchased a Yamaha Keyboard on a website a couple weeks ago and it came with a key that was broken on it. I was referred to DG Tech by a friend who had a cell phone repaired there and another friend who had his Yamaha keyboard worked on there. Both customers were super pleased with the outcome so I decided to give DG Tech a try! The owner has a shop located off of Wake Forest Road in Raleigh but is there by appointment only! If you need service, call the number on yelp FIRST to schedule a drop off. Anyways, I dropped my Keyboard off (Yamaha XS8) to have a key replaced. DG Tech was willing to fix the board for me on the spot BUT I opted to come back and get it another time. DG Repair actually called me ONE day later notifying me that the board was fixed and was working like new. I'm so glad I was able to work with DG Tech as he saved us a lot of money. I was given a quote for a new keybed which was going to cost me over $700 to get fixed. DG Tech was able to use my current keybed by tweaking it, replacing just the broken key and saving us hundreds! Brenden ran the numbers for us and during that conversation, we discovered that Brenden also sells TVs, had that very TV in stock available and offered this very TV a few hundred bucks lower than Samsung. No brainer. We ended up canceling the Samsung order and had Brenden and his team deliver it, install it and mount it. By doing this, we eliminated the waiting for the Samsung delivery, the liability of it being damaged in transport and the hassle of bringing it into the house etc. Brenden and Nick did an amazing job. They are also both extremely knowledgeable in not only all things TV and sound, but also in the wifi space too, as they were able to hard wire and conceal all my TV and Ethernet cords in a jiffy. Impeccable work, superb quality. At first, we considered going with either someone from Thumbtack or a local handyman but are so glad that we trusted seasoned professionals that mount TVs everyday, to do this job. RDU TV Mounting, thanks for the exceptional work!

I called on Sunday 4/14 at 2:30 pm to inquire about getting my phone repaired. I was told I could drop off the phone and pick it up Monday 4/15 for a 24 hour repair. The store associate confirmed he had the phone part so I dropped of my phone that afternoon at 3:30pm. Monday at 5:30 I stopped by to pick up my phone and the store associate said they were waiting on a part, and it wasn't ready but would be ready Tuesday early afternoon. I called Tuesday (before driving out there) at 11:00 am and was told the shipment still hadn't arrived but it would in the next hour and my phone would be ready to pick up that evening before close. I drove by that evening around 6:30 pm and I was told "im sorry ma'am but your phone isn't ready" - they had not started. The store associate said it would now be ready "Wednesday morning when we open". I asked for a specific time, and I was told 10 or 10:30. Wednesday morning 4/17 I called at 10:30am and asked for the status. I was told "in the next 30 to 1 hour". At 11:30 I drove to pick up my phone and the associate said "im sorry ma'am but your phone isn't ready. It will be another hour." At this point, I asked for my phone back and I told the man I would take it somewhere else. He said he couldn't do that because he already started the repair. I said, I don't care - give me the pieces and ill take it somewhere else. He said no. I told him I refused to pay, and he said then "you won't get your phone then". At this point I decided to wait in the store until he finished. I waited for about 50 minutes until my phone was done. I was offered no accommodation or discount. I will never ever do business with you again and I will never recommend it to anyone else.

Things tailed off a little thereafter, it took a week to get the next reply, but things moved in the right direction. 2. ARRIVAL TIME. They were late, but they got there. Wa-a-a-a-ay better than a cable company. 3. ROOF INSTALL. They put the antenna up on the roof exactly as asked. They did all of the right work, had the right parts and the job looks great. 4. IN HOME. They had to wire the antenna into our attic. From there they got it down to our home cable box, and out to all of the TVs. I'm very happy with the work they did. If they'd been on time and a little more responsive = five stars. The great thing is that I can now get rid of my cable and save $100 / month and still get good HDTV service.
