He sent us a quote with different options to choose from, along with diagrams and all of the proper insurance and paperwork we'd need for our HOA's approval. Getting approved was a breeze, and we were on the schedule. Our project manager Pablo, whose crew did a outstanding job, quickly worked to sculpt our overgrown jungle into a work of art. Sal checked in on the project to ensure everything was going smoothly, and most importantly, checked in at the end to ensure we were happy, and needless to say, we are. Work completed today, and we were provided with all of the post-care instructions and a link to Universal's web site to help us protect our investment - very helpful for those of us who don't have green thumbs! We decided to completely upgrade our back yard removing thirty year old plants and hedging and going with a more open and tropical design. Sal at Universal helped us fine tune the design then his team of Pablo and Sebastian began the work of taking out all the old plants, removing a lot of soil and replacing with better soil. The planting was then completed exactly to plan and exactly within schedule. The entire process was managed perfectly, Sal was always available if we had any questions and the guys left the yard every night in immaculate condition.Most importantly we are thrilled with the final product - and Sal provides a full booklet on how to care for the new plants. What a fabulous job Universal Landscaping did on our yard. The 20-year old planting was quickly removed and beautiful new bushes were put in. Sal, Pedro, Julio and Matteo worked incredibly hard pulling out over 30 Ficus bushes and replacing them with Clusia. This house has never looked so good! I had originally found Universal Landscape here on Yelp when looking for a top-notch landscape contractor in Palm Beach County and decided to give Sal a call for an estimate based on their other reviews. From day one, Sal was very communicative and came out to our home as soon as he could. He listened to our vision and advised on our landscaping face-lift by sending over three different proposals within a day or two of meeting, each with different materials and pricing to fit our needs and budget! On top of that, he answered all of our questions, provided documents and waited patiently while we got the work approved by our HOA, which took weeks. Once we got everything squared away with our HOA, Sal got us on his calendar promptly and was onsite within days. When work began, Sal showed up with his project manager Vinny and their crew ready to get to work. Vinny was very professional and communicative as well and even helped me pick out our outdoor lighting from Home Depot personally. He did not hesitate to do a few extra little things as the project was wrapping up and was a great resource day-to-day. Each day the crew came ready to work and they left our yard as they found it each evening! What I thought might take 10-14 days ended up taking one week and our landscaping has never looked better! We went from having an unkempt jungle around our house to a clean, modern landscape that we enjoy looking at as much as the neighbors do. I just had my backyard landscaped by Sal and his team and I could not be more satisfied/happy with the results.
