I liked that there was no pressure to quickly buy. This store had many beautiful hot tubs on display, and I wanted to get one ASAP, but there were things to do before hand: like measuring my space, hiring an electrician and talking to a "crane guy" about placing the hot tub. On the quest to buy some new snowboard gear, I ventured up to north country and I found a north country ski shop chalet: a super small ski shack with great service! These guys know what they're talking about, they're helpful and they're honest. I went in looking to try some stuff on just for measurement sake and no interest in buying. The guy totally understood and was helpful and really didn't give a f*ck. It's super small, so inventory is limited. A row of skis, a row of boards and some good looking clothing. Prices were in like with retail, although did have some previous year models at a discounted price. I love that there was a fire going both inside the store and outside in a little chimenia - makes me feel like winter! They also have a tee-pee for some storage area, but still pretty cool if you ask me. It's a hike, but definitely a solid spot if you're looking for some gear and tune ups this winter season. They do carry rentals as well! ** They carry HEAD ski's and snowboards.
