Being from Southern California and attending Universal Halloween Horror Nights for years, we knew a year round attraction would be different. Obviously, you can't expect the same scale as a major theme park, but Universal Horror Unleashed exceeded our expectations and has a unique identity of its own. The experience started with parking. I pulled into the garage, and my phone immediately notified me that I was checked in. Since I had previously registered my vehicle at another venue, the system recognized my car automatically. It was seamless and incredibly convenient. From there, everything was well organized, felt safe, and every employee stayed fully in character, adding to the immersive atmosphere. In fact, the entire facility never broke theme. The themed bar was one of the highlights and unlike anything we've experienced at the California park. The haunted experiences were outstanding and better built that many in California. Without the massive crowds and shoulder to shoulder lines of HHN, we were able to fully appreciate the details and immersion. The cool indoor temperature, personable staff, and overall atmosphere made for an exceptional evening. Even my family visiting from out of town, who are also longtime Universal Halloween Horror Nights fans, agreed this was the best overall horror experience we've had. It's different from HHN, but absolutely worth experiencing on its own merits.

Loved the experience I had here. I'm a huge horror fan but a coward when it comes to actual horror infront of me. The food and drinks were reasonably priced, I'd recommend eating last as you cannot take anything to-go. I loved the characters walking around and of course Megan dancing to Chappell Roan was the cherry on top to our dinner. We ate The Cook's Chili Cheese Fries (BIG portion!) and the Texas Chainsaw Flatbread! both delicious and decently sized! Houses wise I LOVED them, definitely could get through everything quickly as we went on a Thursday right as they opened. Not a big space but not crazy small either I think there is much more we could have gotten out of here but we finished quickly, good to bring a big group in for sure. The gift shop was decently sized and I loved the small amount of Universal Horror Japan merchandise!

This place was so awesome! I just had the one time access ticket, which was enough for me. They also have a bar which I didn't get a chance to check out. They are 4 mazes all together and they scan your ticket at each maze so keep your phone ready. I like how they have people wait so each group has their own experience. You still might catch up to other people in the maze but 3 or of the 4 mazes my friend and I were able to experience the mazes on our own. My favorite maze would have to be the Texas chainsaw massacre! That was my last one and it was so worth it

I visited this place during a Yelp event and had an amazing time! The outside was vibrant, colorful, and filled with fun photo opportunities. Once inside, everything was very clean and well maintained. There were about four themed mazes, and each one had its own unique vibe. They also had a really cool show area, two bar sections, and actors walking around interacting with guests and giving everyone a good scare. It made the experience even more entertaining! The wait time wasn't bad at all, probably because I went on a weekday. Overall, it was such a fun experience, and I would definitely come back again with my kids!

Universal Horror Unleashed, specifically the Resident Evil event, was really fun!! The collaboration brought a small recreation of the Raccoon City Police Department (with puzzles to solve), characters from RE 2 and 3, some fun food, and zombies... plenty of zombies. Definitely something fun to do in between the haunted houses.

I was looking forward to this just to see the Universal makeup skills since Universal is great at what they do. I wasnt too impressed. They had a few of the haunted theme rooms. The worst one was the easter bunny one. The best one was the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. It wad loud, leather face was crazy! One thing that added to the experience was that some rooms stunk! The crow theme was also koo i'd say that was my 2nd favorite. The exorcist was my 3rd fav, monsters was 4th and the easter bunny was trash! 100 bucks for 2 people. They also had a show with some clowns. Overall it was koo cuz it was dark and there was people walking around that were in character and acting crazy. There was people zip lining on the ceiling, they had a restaurant playing blumhouse movies and blumhouse props showcased. I'd do it again but i would do it during Halloween cuz the vibe wasnt the same.

We had such a great time! The Resident Evil addition gives so much nostalgia! We enjoyed the short mission, what a great concept. I love the Exorcist the most, it really captures the vibe and movie. The actors did such a fantastic job too! The Licker is my favorite, what a great costume, that must be so heavy haha. Every haunted house had its own charm, the Cornfield was fantastic too! All the props, costumes, theme, we enjoyed! I definitely recommend this spot at AREA15 for anyone just visiting and locals! Don't miss this, it's so fun!

It's better always the second time around! Jump for joy and let's get scared !! Now, they have four different mazes at every turn and prepare to be scared and nervous! I'm easily scared! The impression this place has left on me . Anxiety and fear wow!! In the past a haunted house is foreign to me. This is a real good scaring, and experience. The corn maze at every turn and corner is eerie and fearful ! No matter how many times you explore the mazes they are still scary to me. Now you have to visit one of the many bars to get your liquid libations on. They are a little pricy, but it's Vegas . As the bartender makes your drink he has so many words of wisdom and encouragement. The best of Vegas can be found here. This needs to be said. The staff here is so amazing too. All the scares as you wonder the event is so captivating. You will be pulled at and scared at times just by walking by a display. It's amazing . Let's just say that my fear of haunted is becoming more real now . Let's go back to the scaring in those mazes. You must try them! Now let's go see how the scares work! Hey get your scream on !

This was a blast! It was like going to a mini version of Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios. So much fun! The food in turn restaurant was really good. The show that happened while we were eating was fun. There were four haunts to walk-through, which each lasted 5 to 8 minutes long. But very well done! There were actors walking around in complete character all of the time. It was a blast!

THE BEST PART: No waiting in lines that are hours long, no sweating because it is all completely indoors near Area 15. Pure comfort inside, with no extended standing and with cold air conditioning inside. Zero pain here, so much nicer and comfortable. I LOVED the haunted mazes/houses and the shows and dances by Scareactors, such an extremely cool artsy vibe. Pure art. The only suggestion is that they have even more going on in the open areas to watch between going through the mazes/houses. I didn't want to leave. The mazes/houses are EXTRAORDINARY!!!!! The special effects were incredible, things floating in the air, hidden mirrors, it was surreal, a million times better than the ones I've experienced at Universal Orlando. The corn mazes are always my favorite. I loved the corn maze at Islands of Adventure back in 2003. This one at Universal Horror Unleashed had things floating in the air and it was surreal, optical illusions. COOL! At times at Universal Horror Unleashed it felt like I had walked into a real scene in a movie, and was a participant in pure theater. It wasn't just jump scares, it was mostly art, a real scene, completely immersive, but no one touched me. These mazes/houses are elevated, the best. Frankenstein was dark & ALIVE! ALIVE!!!!! I RAN! They didn't have a poop toilet smell from a French perfume company the way that Universal Orlando sometimes has had in some of their mazes/houses over the decades. The food was tasty & it also looked good, whimsical eye candy. The place is really creative. Everyone was extremely friendly and talkative. Drinks were good. I enjoyed myself thoroughly. They even had alcohol free drinks that were sophisticated. One had marshmallow fluff. I love this place!!!

I think we can safely say at this point that if Haunted Houses are your jam, Universal Horror Unleashed will treat you good. Vegas has what feels like a good amount of haunted attractions for adults and kids during Halloween season, to say nothing of the fine selection of horror themed escape rooms too, but what an excellent addition to the Area 15 grounds. The parking garage was located across the street from the venue, I was charged $10 through the text message method. What I love is the themed bar. You do need to pay for entry I don't want to spoil anything but exorcism was my favorite. Me and party freaked each other out because the actors don't touch you, but we felt hands glide across ours and it had to be us doing it to each other and freaking ourselves out. With the BTS concert coming up in 2026, would be cool to see this place participating in welcoming them and their fans to this experience in some kind of Run BTS challenge.

I had so much fun at Universal Horror Unleashed! My favorite haunted house was Scarecrow, it was definitely the highlight for me. I also loved that there are scare actors and performers throughout the building, so even when you're walking between haunted houses there's still something going on. It makes the whole experience feel really immersive. I didn't eat there, but they do have a restaurant with a live show. Even if you aren't dining, there's an area where you can stand and watch, which I thought was a nice touch. Cocktails start at around $12, which honestly isn't bad for Vegas, especially for Area15 pricing. It's also right across from the parking garage, so getting there is super easy. I went in July, but I'd definitely love to go back around Halloween. I also think it's really cool that it's open year-round for anyone who loves Halloween and wants that vibe outside of October.

    Jonnell T.

Super cool place; it wasn't too scary, but there were definitely a lot of jumpy moments. My youngest son was 12 at the time and it was OK for him so I think it's cool for the kids but definitely something to do in Vegas. Definitely enjoyable. They had a bar in there and a restaurant and the drinks were pretty decent so I definitely recommend it.

Ask the Community - Universal Horror Unleashed

How long does the entire experience take if you do all of the Haunted Houses at one visit?

I'd say around an hour or so! They aren't long!

Will they let you in earlier than the entrance time on your ticket?

Yes, they didn't even check the time when we went. Each house runs at different times so good idea to check when it's open so you can do the quickest way. We messed up and the last house we needed wasn't running again for 45 mins so we had to wait…

I see the website mentions Reserve A Table for Premier House Bar. Is this the only way to eat/ drink inside the venue?

No - you can just walk in. But if they are busy you may have to wait.

Don’t See Your Question? Ask Away!

If you're already making the journey into one of the darkest collections in Las Vegas, you might as well unlock every forbidden door. The other thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the insistence on having exactly 13 people in each group. I understand the whole "13" thing fits the theme, but 13 people felt like too many for some of the smaller areas we were in. I'd rather they choose a group size that actually works well for the spaces instead of sticking with 13 just for the novelty. That being said, there is SO much interesting stuff inside this museum. We did the four-hour tour, and I honestly still felt like I didn't have enough time to take everything in. There are so many objects and stories that I wanted to remember. One thing I really wish they offered is a little paper or card where you could jot down notes. They are very adamant about not getting your phone out during the tour, which I understand, but I would have loved to write down the names of some of the objects so I could go home and watch the episodes or documentaries about the stories behind them. Overall, I'm glad I went. There's a lot to see and some genuinely fascinating history behind the objects. Just save yourself the extra money and stick with the regular tour. I'll probably go back again and take a notepad and something to write with so that I can try to look up more detail on some of the objects.

We are use to endless events and things to do for the month of October in SoCal, so when we moved to NV we were a bit lost for spooky time. We tried out all the popular events that locals recommended and while all those experiences were decent, none were even a match for Freakling Bros! It may seem small, only 3 mazes, but each one is so interactive and creative! It is definitely worth the price! The owner walks around and engages with guests. We were eating at the food truck that they rented for the night, and the owner walked over and asked to sit with us. We enjoyed our conversation with Duke and let him know how amazed we were, and turns out we were all from the same hometown! Do be aware that the mazes are not really recommended for children, and one of the mazes is rated R (not for the faint of heart, and was our favorite). We were blown away with the creativity and scares that Freakling Bros provided! You can really tell that these guys thoroughly enjoy what they do and put time and care into their mazes. The scare actors really put in their all and it doesn't feel cheesy or scripted. We definitely have added Freakling Bros to our list for our yearly October Bash! We were then directed thru the doors to start our walk down the hallway to the doctor's office to watch a short video giving you the rules of the ride. Of course as a Yelper & a person who loves to take pictures for the memories I had asked the female doctor if I could take pictures. She told me I was only allowed to take them in that room. Good thing I asked. 5 of my friend's jumped on one golf cart then the rest of us (4) jumped on the next golf cart. We were told by this big, scary lady that we were not allowed to take any pictures & our masks had to stay covering our mouth & nose. If they saw any flashes or our masks off our face we would be removed immediately. She wasn't very nice about it but I'm guessing that was part of her character & she was role playing??? The inside was all decorated & a little dark inside. The driver went slow. My friend & I sat in the back of the golf cart so we couldn't see what was in front of us. Some characters would sneak around & jump out at us. Some of the people looked like fake dummies but then they moved. YIKES!!!! I did get a few good screams but what scared me the most was the guy with the chainsaw!!!!!!!! He was running it right by my feet. I hate the sound of that along with the smell of gasoline it makes me think its real when I know it can't really chop any of my body parts off...right???.....lol The characters don't touch you @ all & your not allowed to touch them. They do get close upto you. One girl was even whispering in my friend's ear about how she wanted to kill me & cut me up. So definitely not a lot of 6ft social distancing here. So if this is something that is going to bother you then this event is not for you. The golf cart ride itself was apx. 15minutes long & the ride is the fun/scary part of the whole adventure. We had to walk a short distance out into the gift shop area @ the end. They had some t-shirts & sweatshirts for sale. Was kinda hard to see exactly what they were selling as it was dark inside & the items were dark colored. There was a counter that sold soda & water inside along with a wall area that had props that you could take pictures in front of. Once you went outside there was another stand that sold alcohol & some snacks. None of us bought anything. There was also some tall hightop tables that you could hang out at. Bathrooms were port-a-potties outside in the parking lot closes to the end of the ride. My friend used them so not sure how clean they were but if you have to go to the bathroom in the beginning better do it before you get inside as I don't believe there are any bathrooms in there that you can use. My friend's & I have been to Fright Dome in the past & when we went there we had bought GA tickets & saw shorter lines for VIP so that's why we decided to buy VIP tickets for this to hopefully avoid a long wait, which we did. We went on a Saturday night, 10/17/2020 @ 9:30pm. I believe it was about $45 for a VIP ticket. Due to the short duration of the ride I don't feel that price is fair. They sure are banking some money there. There had to @ least be 100+ people in the GA line. With COVID this year & no more Bonnie Springs, no Fright Dome & not much to do for Halloween we wanted to try this place out. I gave 3 stars only due to the high price & the short ride. Other then that props were awesome & I did have a few scares.

So given the circumstances it's was decent. I know coming up with a concept to scare was the main…read moregoal and to keep all social distance guidelines it's was decent/okay. It wasn't hard to find if you know Vegas or you know just use GPS. Parking can get a tab bit confusing if you aren't going through a gate with a guy guiding you, you are not parking in the right space and the security guard informed us if you park other places you could be towed. First and for most you have to reserve a time slot on the website and you can not be LATE which it states in the nicely written procedures and instructions or you will be rescheduled which you aren't guaranteed same night. Once you arrive you park and walk down the street and they will direct you to general Admission or VIP which either way honestly you pay more for VIP but you stand about the same time once you get to general admission they won't even let you in the line without putting your mask on all the way above your nose and then you stand there for about 10 minutes it's not very long you get up to the front you sign a waiver and then they direct you to stand at the door by the group you came with. You and your whole group have to stand on the same X six feet apart from the groups around you. Second once you get inside they check your tickets and I.D.s and direct you to the next door while you wait 6 feet apart to get into the golf cart b it don't worry they fully entertain you while waiting about 6 mins Two groups 6 feet apart stand in a room you watch a video and then get onto the golf cart. The golf cart itself goes like 2 miles and hour and the actor's all have mask on but get very close to you on a golf cart. The props are frighdomes props just press around. The ride is about 15 mins with about the same concept/themes of Fright Dome.
