We ended up leaving the team, and several other gymnasts did as well around the same time, being careful not to burn the bridge there since we had loved being there for many years and leaving was quite sad for us. Several of us ended up together at another gym, and a few months later our new gym was barred from competing at Fliptastic's "Follow Your Dreams" competition, citing capacity. Only our gym. Seems suspicious to say the least. It's one thing to have hard feelings against us, but to take it out on an entire team that was mostly not involved is petty to say the least.

This is not an enormous place - but seems to fit the many spandex-covered young kids just fine. All the necessities: Floor, beams, vault, bars, trampolines, and plenty of floor padding mats. There is even a separate smaller room with equipment sized for toddlers - how cute. The participants seem to always be moving - a plus for those high energy ones. The front desk is out in the open. Two restrooms are prominently placed so one does not have to walk down the dim-lite hallway to the back by the loading docks. Three sets of small bleachers align the workout areas so parents can easily keep an eye on there child, or make sure the instructor is up to their par ;) Also, there is a decent amount of standing room for those times, when this place gets crowded. Trophies and pictures cover many of the walls, helping to make this place more "cozy".

She looked like she didn't want to be there, and didn't enjoy being around children or interacting with them at all. She also didn't take the time to help my child improve her skills, which I thought was the whole point of an instructor?! Considering the steep cost, this is clearly not worth it. My child was so discouraged she no longer wants to go. Maybe another class would be a better fit, but I think the overall atmosphere is not a good fit for us. We're looking to have fun while learning new skills, and it seems that others have Olympic ambitions and the serious attitude that comes with it. Perhaps this place is focused on their star programs and not everyday children who want to have fun while learning the basics.

There's a large gravel lot for parking, and, as others have mentioned, this is serviced by well water, so you may want to bring your own.

The music they dance to is fun and engaging and they offer a broad range of classes, most offered at different days and times throughout the week. Makeup classes are easy to schedule. It's easy to observe classes through one-way windows and there's enough that you don't have parents crowding around one limited viewing area. Another factor that was important to me was that the class dress code and recital costumes were age appropriate. No bare midriffs.
