The owner had told us it was against their policy, "you must wash here to be able to use the dryer". She never stops watching you and keeps repeating--over and over again--not to slam the doors (even when I wasn't doing so). I wish k could give this business zero stars. The lady in charge/Owner has terrible customer service. We had our 2 year old son with us and he touched the washers and the lady immediately came at us in a very hostile manner. I grabbed my son and sat him on one of the folding tables so he couldn't touch the washers while I loaded the clothes and once again she accosted us about sitting him on the folding table. We proceeded to wash and dry our clothes. While adding more coins to the dryer, out of nowhere she approached me from behind telling me to no slam the dryer door. I told her I had not closed the dryer doors and that I was just adding more coins for more time and she began to go off in me so we got into an argument. I told her the I did not close the dryer doors and asked her to stop approaching me unless she was sure that I was doing something wrong. The lady told me that she was looking out for her profits and she was gonna approach me if she wanted to and told me to leave if I didn't like it. I told her I wasn't going to leave until my dryer cycle was done. I told here that she was very rude and had a very nasty attitude towards her customers. This lady does have the place super clean but she provides terrible customer service. The lady will try and talk down to you if you allow her to. I should have read the reviews to this coin laundry before coming here. That explains why the place had 1 customer when we got here. The best of luck to this lady and I hope she reads this review and it makes her change her way of treating customers but I doubt it based off older reviews and 2-4 years later she is still treating her customers like shit. read more

What could improve is A NEW MANAGER/OWNER. The service here is HORRIBLE! Whoever the old lady is in the establishment is RUDE and DOES NOT know how to talk to people. She complains about how you close the doors on the washer and dryers when you barely touch them. I have no problems following the rules of an establishment, but address people in a respectful manner if you need to correct them! My husband walked past a washer and bumped the door and she came over to scold him about how to properly close the door. He said it was an accident, but I remember you told me this last time. She replies, " then if you remember why do I have to tell you again." It is a shame because the establishment is close to home, but I will drive the extra 15-20 min to the next location to avoid giving my money to someone so rude and unprofessional. I am new to Lawrenceville as of two weeks ago. I am waiting on a washer/dryer delivery so I googled laundromats close to me as I needed to throw a few clothes in the dryer to eliminate wrinkles. I walked in and picked a dryer to dry my clothes. I opened the dryer to put my clothes in and immediately after I shut the door, the owner came up to me, verbally attacked me, and said "don't slam my door!" I shut it normal. We precede to jargon back and forth for 5 minutes. She was constantly harassing me and I literally thought she was going to attack me. She told me to leave as "they don't allow people just to dry clothes." At that point, I did feel very uncomfortable as she would not stop harassing me. I am a white male and I can honestly say she singled me out. She seemed to be from India or Latin American. My experience today seemed to be similar to other reviews posted on this site. I am also going to file a complaint today with the Georgia better business Bureau as it looked like she was selling fake cologne and other items that I assume you need a permit for. read more

I went there to do laundry, it is pretty nice and cheap. The workers are ok. It kind of sucks that they do not allow people to bring clothes just to dry, but the machines work very well. All about under $5, you yourself could get your laundry done if you have an average amount. The bigger washing machines are costlier, but that is expected. The place is good. read more

I live near this laundromat but would go to another familiar place when I need to clean my bed linen. Today, I decided to stop here because it's closer. This is one best decisions that I have made. Martha pleasantly greeted me upon my entry and immediately, graciously answered any questions that I had. She actually gave me a "tour" and told me all about the facility. Owner/worker is very rude. I've been coming here for the past 3 months and all was going pretty well. The establishment is pretty clean and there are plenty of washers and dryers. Everything took a turn on my last visit when I was trying to close the door of the dryer and it was closing. I tried it about 3 or so times before one of the workers started ruining at me telling not to slam the door! I was so startled because I actually being careful not to close the door in a manner that was more than normal. I have used this laundromat several times and I really like it there. The place is very clean and the lady that works there is very nice. You can use your debit card for the machines which is nice. The only reason I did not give it five stars is because it is a smaller laundromat so it's really tight in there especially on the dryer side. read more

I asked to change a 20 bill to make change for laundry. The woman who works there starts questioning me as to where my laundry was I pointed at the machine where I already loaded my laundry. She then told me the machine is empty. I told her that I just put my stuff in it. As a matter of fact I put my clothes in a machine close to where she was doing someone's laundry while she was working. This woman started trying to argue with me about a minute into this mini conversation so I had to cut it short. Really didn't understand her reasoning but I just asked her to give my money back and that I was going to take my business elsewhere she handed my money back and I went to get my clothes out of the machine and all of a sudden she wants to direct me to a machine that takes smaller loads. (Now she remembers me walking). I told her no thanks an she sees the angry look on my face and I told her she tried to clown me in front of the other cilustomers so she lost my business. She never apologized but she tried to make me look like a bandit and told me GOD BLESS YOU. What I can't understand is how people do wrong and try to bring God into the picture. My understanding of God is if someone asks of me then I'll give it without question. I didn't curse her nor did I make a scene. I just simply kept the conversation volume between us. Beware = if you have not washed your clothes here, they will not allow you to dry them. Our dryer died today, and I had two damp loads of laundry I needed to dry. I lugged my laundry in, put it in two dryers (there were a bunch available), and just as I was ready to feed quarters into the machines, the manager or whoever it is came over and told me I couldn't dry my clothes there. She said it is their "policy" that you can't use the dryers unless you've used the washers. I asked her what kind of policy this was, and that I had money to spend and explained our dryer had died and what was I supposed to do? She said she was sorry, it is their policy. I've never heard of such a ridiculous "policy" in my life. If they don't want my business, they will not have it. After her loud comment about slamming dryer door, I sincerely apologized the PROBLEM; she continued to chastise with commentary as if speaking to a child and not a customer. OWNER IS EXTREMELY RUDE!!! The disrespect I just experienced, I will NEVER come back. I loaded a few washers and sat in the car in eye's view of my washer. I promise it was no more than 3 min since the washer stopped that she took my stuff out of the washer and moved it for someone else to put their stuff in. So I came in like where's my stuff and they guy said she moved it. So annoyed, because that's rude, I go get the basket with my clothes and unloaded another washer, to then go to a dryer to load. She then raises her voice at me out of no where and starting pointing her fingers in my face going off on me and telling me if I break her dryers, I'm going to pay and when I started snapping back confused, she threatened to call the police and I said, CALL THEM!! With a minimum of 10 bucks if your load is under weight. The owner is really kind and friendly! The lady that worked there this morning was absolutely the worst customer service experience I've ever had. I do not recommend this place save your money, save your time and most of all save your peace. I washed my clothes and they were not clean I used half a bottle of detergent in my clothes and it made me think that I didn't put any detergent in there and I asked her if there was a way that she could look on the camera. I have been coming here about 2 years. The owner is always on site maintaining, cleaning and monitoring service. It is always clean and sanitized. The machines are clean and operate extremely efficiently. Dryers dry clothes quickly unlike other laundromats who have terrible dryers and only take your money. It is a well run business and I highly recommend it over any other one in the vicinity. read more

As she claims the place is hers and instructs , pressure you to come back in a certain time not close to time the place close , she yells with high pitch and has facial expression..Real business owners are polite even when addressing an issue , they are respectful especially when u spent money at their premises.Also , she has to have courtesy and customer service especially avoiding going back and forth with clients with kids around and telling customers that if they don't like it they should not come back. I have special chemical sensitivities, and it's needful for me to scope things out first before doing a load. I needed to know from the owner that I could get a towel, and she pointed to the paper towels. Okay, so I tried those. However, the moment she saw that I was trying to clean the detergent dispenser from seeing small globs in there I wanted to be rid of, she immediately became insulted and defensive. There she was with a towel, claiming that her place was "the cleanest laundromat in town", and told me in no uncertain terms that she was going out of her way for me; she really couldn't hide her anger in her words and actions. Though claiming she's there to help her customers, she was less than honest with me about that. Any chance of friendly customer service or professionalism went right out the window. This place is fantastic!! I got tired of the laundromat near my house that never seems to have working a/c, and is cluttered and actually pretty dirty. Decided to drive a little further, and try out Universal Coin Laundry after reading a couple other yelp reviews. I couldn't be more pleased! The machines are new, and sparkling, the a/c is cold, the place smells clean which is virtually unheard of, and the owner is a sweetheart! My new laundromat of choice! Give it a try! read more
