But comprised of many acres on a river and distinctive rooms make this a great place to visit. We stayed in the largest room with a jacuzzi for Friday and Saturday nights and really enjoyed the larger space. Next time we will likely try a room actually in the main building. Great breakfasts each day with recipes from the owner prepared by the local management team. From our perspective however a disappointment was they are apparently quite popular for wedding receptions that are smallish but otherwise fill the common area room. The disappointment was regular guests couldn't enjoy the real wood fireplace and many treats in the common room during the afternoon. And in the evening the staff went home and the fireplace was no longer lit. There were receptions Friday and Saturday. When you reserve you may want to check on the wedding situation if that is important to you.

While it's only a short drive from the restaurants and shops in downtown Estes, you might as well be a million miles away. The road dead ends at this secluded place, and it's dark and quiet at night. We had a nice evening walk around the property and enjoyed another walk...with elk...the next morning, followed by the included breakfast. The common area has snacks and an espresso machine, which we really appreciated, having arrived late afternoon, and not being inclined to leave for dinner. The whole place is decorated in a decidedly dated style. I know, I know, they're going for Victorian charm, and they've somewhat achieved that; lace tablecloths in the breakfast room, heavy furniture and lots of needlework pillows. Our room had a color scheme that spoke more to the late 1990s than the late 1890s. If you hate that, stay away, especially if you're looking for a place to stage a wedding. Otherwise, a nice place to spend some time away from it all.

I just had my wedding here in December 2021. It is a beautiful venue with kind people to work with…read more I chose it because it is an "all inclusive" and I didn't have to find any of my own vendors aside from a photographer. The day overall went smoothly. It was super nice to be able to choose the base package but you can customize it as much as you want, you just have to go through the vendors separately. A couple of things that could have been smoother for us: - we did end up having to pay each vendor out of pocket for things that I think should be included (ex: using real plates and cutlery rather than plastic). I was fine with paying for some other upgrades that we chose, but some of it seemed odd to not be automatically included. - I wish we could have had the venue all day. There wasn't an event in the morning, but instead we had to find somewhere else to get ready instead of paying $300/hr to get ready at the venue - after the ceremony it felt a bit rushed to get the bridal party out of the chapel. All the bridesmaids had to get their things out of the back immediately. Overall, I'm extremely happy with the day and event. Russell and Faith were great to work with and I would definitely do it all over again.

The location is great as we both have spent quite some time at Palmer Lake. beautiful views of the mountains as it is nestled close to them. Great outdoor venue area for when it's warm and an even more beautiful chapel and reception hall. I envision our big day at Pinecrest after the tour (we toured other places but the view was the best for us). Danny was also very informative of the packages and we chose the all inclusive. Well worth it, I have to say because when it came to our big day, everything was " absolutely spectacular " and the staff were amazing and worked hard to make our day over the top amazing. Jessica was our wedding coordinator, absolutely brilliant and amazing person to make our dream wedding ( and only wedding) come true. Danny, Jessica and the whole staff at Pinecrest: we cannot thank you enough for your kindness, patience and hard work you all did for our wedding. I am beyond words of how I'm so impressed with Pinecrest and it's staff. For those that are reading, definitely have your wedding here. Such a gorgeous place with trem staff. Best wishes, Anthony and Andrea C.

So we drive up last night and were absolutely enchanted. While the venue might be on the smaller side (it's a small town vibe, so it adds to the aesthetic of it all), everyone in the play (The Secret Garden) absolutely gave the show their all. Phenomenal cast, venue, and the whole sort. They were talking about their next play in October and my friend and I are already waiting for the date so we can set it in the books to come up. It really feels like we found a little gem of cozy fun and idk if I want to share it lol! But alas, I am and I hope you all have years of success!
