Don't get fooled by this schools name, its not as IDEAL as you might thing. Absolutely do not go to…read morethis school if you don't want trauma. The Principal does nothing at all if there are any problems/issues. The fourth grade teacher, (will not name) died blonde hair, about 5"4, and is polish, please do not put your child with her. She gaslighted me into thinking I forgot my homework even though she just tossed it. She dumped my backpack out in front of the whole class to "search it", just because she didn't believe me. The sixth grade teachers are awesome! But if you get on one of the teachers bad/angry side... Along the sides of the sixth grade teacher , My friend brought her phone to school (LIKE ALL THE OTHER KIDS DO) for safety reasons, and because she felt uncomfortable and unsafe. The sixth grade teacher saw it in her back pocket and took her out to the hall for a talk. She understood but, she was in the library with me when the teacher went up to her and yelled and asked if she has her phone. She didn't but instead of answering she just smiled, this angered the teacher so much that she yelled "S/A THIS ISN'T FUNNY! DO YOU HAVE YOUR PHONE OR NOT!?" The student then answered "no" she was so unbothered and calm about it. The teacher looked at her angrily and just stomped off. But what didn't make the most sense. There would always be this one student who would have his AirPods in, his hoodie on, and have his phone out and about. No teacher would stop him because he was/is "depressed". He also offered 2 student his vape on the bus. (they sat away from him and declined).. We were all so happy when we finally left this school. Although the art, music, pe, advanced reading, front desk, are all super nice!!!! But the janitor Jose, is so creepy and is always around the girls of this school (1st-6th graders) he's so unnecessarily uncomfortable. This is only a fraction of what happened towards the end of the year. If I wrote all of my 8 1/2 years here at this school I would might as well write a book.

Shittiest school I've attended, teacher fiddling kids and kids just hate each other and hurt each…read moreother over dumb stuff, adult staff doesn't do much except walk around and scream at us for not being in class on time (as soon as we are allowed to leave) they don't really help and the counselors are very nice specifically Ms Ramirez but fuck me the bathrooms and nothing but druggie meetups and the staff could care less, also not enough diversity between the teachers except for some Latinos (which they mainly only have for the immigrant/Spanish native students, nothing else can be said except this place is basically a god damn prison and the warden loves calling parents and over reacting everything that happens to get a kick out of them (they also seem to love calling parents even when they have an abuse history instead of asking the child what is going on and how they could be helped, need to have a talk because you want to kill yourself? Callin your parents saying everything about you being bad in school then not dropping the shell that you're suffering mentally, they just send cps and have you stripped from your parents or leave you with them which obviously makes it worse considering they believe you called the cops)

The school has some great and beautiful architectural designs most buildings don't have. but poor maintenance and school budgeting has left this building to suffer such as : Out of date piping, flooding in the basement and of course as crumbling infrastructure. This building will soon be demolished and replaced with a new Burbank school that will cost taxpayers millions that will alleviate these issues.

I went here from 1990 to 1994, and really had a good, safe time. All girls catholic school that…read morealso welcomed one or two muslim girls in my day, making it a lot of fun to learn about their different beliefs and how similar we all really are in this small world. The prices became higher and higher with increases, but the environment and teachers made it a wholesome and good experience for most of us. The drawback was the outside gym classes in the grassy area where there's a parking lot now, and having to go out to the mobile classrooms in the thick of winter... and the stocking regulations in winter weren't all that fun either. The cafeteria used to overcharge and not provide good nutritive options, never mind for vegetarians. Gym class was basic and not equipped with any particularly exciting curriculum nor equipment. We didn't used to have modern PCs nor computer classes, even though it was beginning to become more and more popular in other schools. The sisters live next door in their convent, there's a senior citizen home as well, where older sisters or civilians reside their last few years or months of their lives. Peaceful surroundings, excessive acreage we were made to navigate during the yearly walkathon. Good times.

God Bless the Nuns and Teachers! They served as wonderful examples for young girls trying to…read morenavigate through their teenage years. All girls? All fun! Different backgrounds, different neighborhoods, but we were All Assisians! Great experience growing up. I appreciate my parents sacrifice in giving me that opportunity.

My twin sisters attend this school and absolutely love it here! Every time I've come to pick them…read moreup or drop them off, the teachers have been really polite and helpful. They offer lots of opportunities to get involved. My one sister is on the wrestling team, and my other sister is in band. Both of them are involved in SOS, which stands for Students on board with Success. With this group, they've gained leadership experience and are able to help their peers. I definitely recommend this junior high!
