I highly recommend this location to care for any spiderveins you need to get rid of. QUICK, PAINLESS, PROFESSIONAL! BTW my spouse's varicose veins have left the building and his legs look phenomenal! -Star Review I…read morerarely leave reviews, but my experience with this medical practice has been deeply frustrating and, frankly, unacceptable--especially for a cardiology office where patients often rely on urgent, accurate care. The communication here is disorganized at best, negligent at worst. After multiple calls about a prescription that was never sent to the pharmacy, I finally discovered the wrong medication had been submitted entirely. In cardiology, where medication errors can have life-threatening consequences, this is a massive red flag. The lack of urgency or concern from staff made it even worse--no one seemed to care. We were told that a CT scan was "urgent," yet the imaging center attempted multiple times to get clinical notes from the provider's office and received nothing. I personally called to request the notes and never got them. Eventually, I had to take time off work to physically go to the office just to get the documentation--two weeks after being told this was time-sensitive. By the time the imaging center got what they needed, services were denied by insurance. Even then, I was told the provider's office would send an appeal. Every time I called to follow up, the staff sounded annoyed and uninterested, eventually telling me, "If it's that urgent, you can call insurance yourself." That level of disregard is unacceptable, especially from a cardiology practice. The entire process has been a constant runaround with no accountability. Cardiology is a delicate and critical field, and it should be treated with the utmost care. Sadly, my experience showed the exact opposite.

I had the venous ablative procedure on both legs. The echo was very comprehensive. The laser…read moreprocedure was fine for the superior (upper) veins of both legs. Minimal pain and very efficient. He also did laser on a crossover vein in the right inferior. I was told that the inferior veins would be foam. The failure rate of foam is about 30%. Laser is only 5%. I wanted laser and told the technician. I also checked with the front desk. I was scheduled for laser. I confirmed this when I checked in for the procedure, and was told it was to be foam. Foam takes about 5 minutes. Laser about 15 minutes. The waiting room was packed, and Dr Pessin said he could not do laser for fear of nerve damage. (I personally think it was his packed schedule.) I succumbed and he did foam. (He was the expert) It has now been three weeks, and I still have pain from the foam in two spots. I checked the internet when I got home (yikes) and there was no medical reason that I could find that would have mandated foam. I decided to skip any other procedures for this condition, so the right inferior vein remains untreated.

They are billed at your imaging rate, which is much much higher this week after six months of going for treatment, my mother received surprising use that she owed them $450. At no time was she told her that it would cost her $80 every time they used the ultrasound machine, and every other visit is an ultrasound visit. They don't break it down for you. They don't disclose this information up front. On top of all of that, they hound you to make more appointments and make it hard to cancel without rescheduling on the spot. The worst part is my mom was very dissatisfied with the outcome since she has not stop having pain in the incision sites. And the cherry on top is that you can't get a hold of anyone who can actually solve your problem because everyone only knows what they do in their own department and nobody is responsible for anything. They are intentionally misleading. Please find somewhere else that is practicing more ethically. They pray on the Hispanic community. Esta compañía les va a sacar el dinero hasta por los poros. I drove 45 minutes for my appointment, and when I arrived, the office was quiet, with only two or three people in the lobby. The receptionist was very friendly and checked me in without issue. A nurse took my blood pressure, asked a few questions, and then left me in an exam room. I ended up sitting there for an hour with no follow-up, no check-ins--nothing. The room felt like it was around 85 degrees. I even stepped out and looked around, expecting someone to at least acknowledge me. No one did. As I walked toward the exit and asked for directions, still no one said a word. So I just left. Once I got home--finally in air conditioning--I decided to call the office. It was 4:45 PM. Despite their posted hours being 8:00 to 5:00, I was met with a voicemail saying they were closed. That, in itself, says a lot. I can't speak to the quality of the doctors themselves, but in terms of patient care and professionalism, this experience was extremely disappointing--especially for a vascular clinic, where patients likely have serious health concerns. Leaving someone in a hot room for an hour with no communication is unacceptable.

Not sure where this is acceptable medical practice. Especially not being told until after the procedure that they are a 'non- pain medicine clinic' ( whatever the hell that is) However after enduring the pain for a few days The stint failed, resulting in a more extreme Bi- Pass procedure on my inner right thigh. After the surgery the doctor decided to use some sort of glue? To close the wound, which in turn got infected and I had to go back to have him basically close my leg up again, using stitches. I was given pain medication after this procedure so I don't understand their no pain med policy. Pain is pain, right? However this was in 2023, and I still have not fully recovered nor returned to work. This was, and still is a nightmare. Shame on the firm (Thrive), for screening their reviews to make them look good. There a multiple lawsuits against this LLC AND ITS subsidiary components. Doctor Harris was so upset that he had to re- do his sloppy glue job as if it were my fault it was done incorrectly. I would not bring my damn dog to these people. I think he knew the stint would fail due to the severity of the blockage and did it anyway to charge for the extra procedure. That's my personal opinion and experience. After the second surgery to drain the hematoma and infection from the botched stitch job. He never came in to check on me or apologize for anything, so I spent my 48th birthday at Banner U. For something that should never have happened, alone and in pain. I would give zero stars if I could.
