This has to be the WORST cab company in K/W. Wife called at 5:54pm to get a cab. Called at 6:15 to hear that "the cab must have not been able to find you or picked someone else up" She was in front of a grocery store, guess she didn't see a 2400 pound car in front of her... 6:35 still no car. So I call and ask if they's be kind enough to pick up my wife. He said still 10 minutes+ for a car. She then gets a text stating trip cancelled. 6:53 get another text that a car is on the way, new trip booked! Really? Called UBER, arrival in 4 minutes. If the cab companies want us to use cab instead of UBER maybe try actually PICKING UP YOUR CUSTOMERS!!!!!!!!!!! This isn't the first time, but DEFINITELY the last... Worst experience ever. And on top of that my ice cream was all melted. I like ice cream. Actually I LOVE ice cream! This is the worst part (for me, not her) I had to drink ice cream. Sad sad day... read more

I would not recommend them ,however my driver to the airport was great,the problem was that my prebooked driver did not show up at the arranged time, was 45 min late.The problem I have is that there was a conflict in the reason by the driver and dispatch so someone was not truthful read more

United is by far the worst cab company , they are extremely slow every time I ask a driver if they've been busy they state no but yet it takes more than 20 minutes to get to my place, I always tip my cab driver and expect better service. This is why I am now not going to be a customer of yours you guys don't treat you're regulars good . I literally only use united because they can take me to/from the airport. Drivers are rarely friendly, complain a lot, and last time the driver didn't even want to go to the compound at the airport (which is illegal). Would not recommend if you have any other option read more

United Taxi claims to be able to take people to Pearson airport from Kitchener for 89.00 dollars. Sounds great, you say. Much better than Airways Transit. Well, you may call United Taxi and speak to a friendly young lady; she will take all the details of your flight, pick up time, and even how much luggage you have. You will go to sleep that evening feeling confident that you will have a ride in the morning. You will wake early, wrestle your three kids out of bed, get dressed in your winter clothes and wait for the taxi to arrive at 5:00 am. But the taxi will not come. And when you call United Taxi to ask why, they will simply tell you there was no booking made and that is that. And you will panic and beg a ride, and just barely make your flight to XXX for your mother-in-law's funeral. In my experience United Taxi are much better at telling you they can drive you to Pearson airport than they are at actually doing it. Take from this what you will and use this service at your peril. read more

Will not be using this cab company again. I called at 3:30 pm to pre-book a pick up for my daughter from work, requesting the cab for 5:00 pm, they did not show until 5:36 pm. When I called to inquire where the cab was I was advised there was a cab in the area and when he was done with that customer would get my daughter????? WHY DID I PRE-BOOK!!!!! read more

I wish there was an option to give 0 stars-beyond unreliable and terrible service. We had booked a taxi in advance, to pick up my parents this morning for 3:40am as they have a very important working trip and needed to meet the rest of the employees to leave for the airport. Last night the time was confirmed. This morning the cab was not here for this arranged time, and when we called to see where the driver was they said they would not be there for another 10/15 minutes, at this point my parents were going to miss their connection, and therefore, miss their flight. This was extremely stressful and we had to arrange for an alternative method of transportation very last minute. I just called in regards to this situation and at 4am the cab was STILL not here and would still not be here for God knows how long. I requested to launch a complaint and they said that it is not guaranteed because sometimes they don't have drivers out at this time.... then why do you accept and promise advanced pickup arrangements, especially when you know it is in relation to travelling to the airport. I am shocked at their lack of customer service and unreliability. I would recommend NOT using their services, especially if you are trying to catch a flight. Very unimpressed read more

Never using this taxi service again. I have had two different drivers now who have berated me and spoken rudely about how us "young people" don't understand the value of a dollar, or don't know how to behave in a cab. I am a quiet young woman who only cabs home from work on late nights, or if the bus routes aren't accommodating. I always chat and ask how my cab driver's night/morning/day is going, out of courtesy. After all, this person is driving me to my destination! If they hate youth that much, I don't feel comfortable in a car with them. All in all, the bad experiences outweigh the good ones, and I will be going with CityCabs from now on. read more

Extremely disappointing experience. I used this service last week to get to Pearson from KW and the car was about 5 minute late and reeked of smoke. Despite this, I decided to use them again when booking a taxi for my elderly mother using their online booking a week in advance. Her flight was leaving at 8 am so we booked the pick up at 445. I called the day before to verify they had the booking and I was told they had the info and the driver would be there as scheduled. At 445 my mother called them to check and was told a driver was on their way. After 15 minutes she called back to check and was told that because it was booked online they did not have a driver available in advance and no one was available to take her to the airport. They suggested trying a different company. I called to clarify and they gave me the same line. By the time they actually called to say that they had a car available (about 40 minutes later than originaly booked), we had already booked another company. I am not sure how their local taxi service runs, but their $89.99 fare to Pearson is not worth the stress of wondering if they will honor the reservation. read more

We used United Taxi's airport service. On the way down, we paid for both drop off and pick up. I was hesitant to pay for the pick up service, however the driver on the way to the airport assured us that they: 1) call and check the flight status and 2) guarantee that they will be there to pick us up on time. He advised that the reason they charge more for the pick up is because of this extra work and that the taxi driver sits in a 'waiting area' until we call for them to pick us up. We were scheduled to land at 11:00 and be picked up by 11:30. Our flight came in 30 minutes earlier than it should have. They did not call to check the status. We called the 'waiting area' at 11:15, and our taxi had not yet arrived. Even if our flight was not early, you would expect them to be waiting there for you 15 minutes before pick up time. That's what the 'extra fee' is for.... At 11:30 we had to use our credit card to phone United Taxi, (another $5.20 in a pay phone for long distance, but more about the inconvenience) They advised the cab was on the way... after another 15 minutes, the driver had apparently checked into the waiting area, but got lost on the way to the pick up spot. We waited another 30 minutes for her to re-check in at the waiting area and get directions. We should have been home by the time she found her way to us. There was no apologies - just excuses... She told us she had never been to the airport and didn't understand the signs. Actually, we noticed she wasn't even the driver/owner of the cab - it was a picture of a man... and apparently, she did have time to stop and get a hot coffee somewhere while we stood waiting for her. I would NOT recommend United Taxi for airport service and in fact, I will call any other taxi cab companies in town. read more
