I brought my ice packs and cooler just to shop here after a long pulmonology appointment for my daughter on February 17, 2026. I'm learning that the HEB brands are okay in most cases, but their chips and other items have bioengineered (genetically-modified) ingredients that are probably also in other items I buy, but it's disappointing... something to watch since there still isn't much information about the health risks. The staff members stay fairly busy so they don't go out of their way to assist folks, but our cashier was real friendly. The Texas section is one of my favorites. I bought 4 bananas @20¢ each. I had been meaning to get some anyway and kept forgetting so it was nice to have the reminder right there in front of me for a good price. I definitely noticed that their prices were a little higher than stores in larger cities but I have found that in most of the stores in Clovis. It probably costs more to have things shipped in and they have to add that into their sale price.
