I told her I had this grocery stores in Lubbock, TX, bookmarked and we could just pick up some cookies and a cake or something for her sister who had her final 6th grade band concert later that night. She obliged. We were visiting from a small town and were blown away by this place. It was incredibly clean. All of the employees were smiling and busy. The produce section was immaculate. We were getting short on time so we didn't get to go to many sections, but the flower shop was great. I'm not vegan but my sister-in-law is and she would love this place. There were tons of options. We walked away hysterically with just over 1 lb. of "scratch M&M cookies" (20-ct for $5.99) and a super cute 5-inch chocolate cake ($14.99). Busy place. I think my rewards number ties in with Albertsons Market (The United Family). TIPS + there are two other locations in Lubbock, but this is the only one.... + *** Open 24 Hours ***

It's located in the southern area of Lubbock, TX, which is growing like a West Texas weed - fast! I brought my ice packs and cooler just to shop here after a long pulmonology appointment for my daughter on February 17, 2026. I'm learning that the HEB brands are okay in most cases, but their chips and other items have bioengineered (genetically-modified) ingredients that are probably also in other items I buy, but it's disappointing... something to watch since there still isn't much information about the health risks. The staff members stay fairly busy so they don't go out of their way to assist folks, but our cashier was real friendly. The Texas section is one of my favorites. There are so many neat gifts for all my Texans. It has a gas station too. Happy shopping, y'all.

We then walked around looking for another item and ran into her again, at which point she asked if she could help us find something else. I told her what I needed, and she immediately took us to it. It's sad that in some stores customer service has gone downhill so much that employees will walk right over you and not say a word to you. I'm thankful to find a store where old-fashioned customer service is still in place and going strong. I hope Sarah gets a raise in pay soon.

I stopped by there with my dad because, as far as he knew, they were one of the few places in Lubbock that sold tripe. The Good: From what I understand the tripe was quite cheap relative to other places that sold it. They had a good variety of Mexican foods as well as produce used in Mexican cooking. There was even a guy out front selling snow cones! The Bad: The place is fairly small and the carts are regular sized shopping carts. It's hard to maneuver in such a tight spot. If you're not used to seeing some Mexican crazy you should definitely prepare yourself. Overall: I would absolutely go there again. The prices were cheap and they had many Mexican foods that you'd have no chance of finding at Lowe's or United.

Yes, this is a great place for groceries. But more importantly, they have some of the best…read morebreakfast burritos in town. First things first: the burritos are weighed by the pound. No more of that you-gotta-pay-for-each-topping business. That is LAME. It's roughly $4.99/lb for burritos (pretty positive), and if you get a lot of toppings, yes, you might get a $5+ burrito. But it is so so so worth it. May I let you in on my weekly order? Of course. I'll get a smaller burrito with migas (without cheese), potatoes, crumbled sausage, ham, green chiles, jalapeños, no shredded cheese as a topper, and 2 salsas. You can try to get a "smaller burrito", but the actual proportion could depend on who's building it Pray that it will also be wrapped in proper burrito fashion rather than layerville (which sucks, but whatevs). Inevitably, you're probably going to have a roughly $4 burrito. Good job, that means you've done it right. In that case, know to leave your burrito in its phenomenal, well-wrapped, foil casing, as that is the only thing keeping your burrito ingredients far from you cute dress and the grease away from your lovely hands. Dump that salsa on top, and you're doing it right. The other Market Street locations do offer breakfast burritos, but there something magical about the 50th & Indiana location. Whether it's the fact that I make way too much small talk with the same ladies working the line or the delicious, greasy ingredients in my heavenly Sunday morning burrito, I don't know. But try them. Today. Or tomorrow before 10am .
