I was in the area and hungry so I decided to stop by this location after looking on Yelp and seeing it was close. I just needed a small meal to tide me over. The store had an older look although it was plenty clean and organized inside. I found my way back to the deli but it was much smaller than the ones in the I-40 Soncy area. There weren't even any tables to sit at. The lady behind the counter was very nice. I read over the menu and decided to just get a brisket sandwich for $5.99 and a bag of tortilla chips for a dollar. I didn't realize it was no place to sit until after I got my food but the lady said there was a table outside. It turned out the outside table was probably for employees to take their break at. There were a lot of cigarette butts around but nobody was smoking at it while I was there, which was nice. The sandwich had so much meat in it I took half of it out before I ate the sandwich and took the rest home to make a sandwich for lunch the next day. The meat wasn't real juicy but it was very tender and had good flavor. The barbecue sauce was pretty good too for being grocery store fare. I didn't need any groceries so I didn't get any but I was happy with what I did get. The store seemed quite busy. read more
