They set fees for defendants at a halfway reasonable monthly amount. So many countries don't. The courthouse echoes the niceness of the community.

The courthouse is always clean and the employees are always friendly and helpful. Their is a…read moreelevator for the handicaped or for those who don't want to walk all the stairs. There is one bathroom on the 2nd floor and bathrooms in the basement for men, women and wheelchair accessible. The Voting, Cherokee Transit and Ag extension offices are also located in the basement. On the first floor is the Security office, Land and personal property offices along with others. On the 2nd floor is the court clerk, courtroom and baliff office. Lastly, the 3rd floor is the D.A. and other courtroom. There is lots of stairs, I most almost always take the elevator. Right behind the courthouse is the Blaine County Sheriff's office and jail house. So that makes it nice getting all those people in orange and cuffs back and forth from court. I've been in almost every office in the building over the last eleven years or so and used to be the manager of Cherokee Transit. I guess this place is great unless you're in trouble with the law.

It was a great time, seeing the fellowship of people coming together in celebration of their culture. The drum circles and traditional songs were amazing. The facilities at the tribes community center in Concho, Ok are impressive. They have a large community hall with a full kitchen and plenty of room for hundreds of people, just a few miles outside of El Reno. If you ever have the opportunity to attend an event, please do. It's an awesome experience.

Pretty nice little public library for the middle of uncultured Western Oklahoma. Granted, the…read moreselection isn't the greatest, its not bad. The librarians are mostly helpful and nice. But it can definitely be a pain to get your library card. Have to bring in your water bill or something and they take their time. If you know somebody who has access to the SWOSU library, I'd suggest you go there instead. Much, much bigger selection. But overall not a bad library. You can do an interlibrary loan, and they also have a not too bad selection of videos you can check out.

I came here today to vote on the presidential election and thought I would take some pics of our…read morelibrary while I was here. The room we vote in is an extended room of the library with a kitchen area. It's not only used for voting, but also movie days for the kids, mimes, comedians, author's, magicians to put on their shows and crafts that the children can partake in. The library itself is full with shelves and shelves of books. There's a play area for small children and computers with games for them, there's also computers for public use and movie DVD's to check out too. Though there was no movies when I came today. Just out the door is a drop off box for books and movies that need checked back in if the library is closed. The free wifi seems to bring people around here at all times. There's the library park located outside that looks pretty popular.
