My review isn't just for one location, it's for the entire establishment. On Monday, October 20, 2025, in Lobeco, SC, I Dropped off a package to be sent to New Bern NC. It made its way to Charleston, then Columbia , right on track. Then in went to Georgia, then Fayetteville NC, then Arkansas. Then back to Georgia. Then back to Charleston,SC, then to Columbia for 2 days. NOW, this evening, October 28, eight days later, they're claiming it's in Fayetteville NC again. Let's see if it makes the final destination to New Bern. I paid $9.04 for this kind of incompetence. Someone needs to be held accountable for this. USPS has no clue the stress and downright anger they cause with their mishaps. And if they do, they really don't give a crap. Soooo, let's see if the Halloween stuff I was trying to get to my granddaughter will actually make it there before NEXT Halloween. You people really need to get your act together. And don't think you've heard the last from me. I'm just here to give you a friendly warning, and to let people know that if they want to ship something to a family member, something that should be so simple, to reconsider and use a different shipper. USPS is not what it used to be. Not by a long shot. I bet the real postal workers that are retired or no longer on this earth are ashamed of what usps has become. What is there to say? It's the USPS. I think it's a pretty efficient operation. I know people complain about the price of postage going up. But where can I get a better deal on sending a medium or large size package for under $20.00? I like to send care packages to people that volunteer their time. Those boxes are solid (free), I can confidently know that it will arrive in at least two days. In Covid times, a package may be a little late. But that's okay, these folks are working very hard!!! Thank you USPS!!! Today I'm buying stamps and sending a care package. I wrap it at home and use the self stamping machine and throw the package into the bin. Easy peasy!!! read more

Every negative review below is an immediate reflection of your ability to professionally develop your employees. You don't deserve to hold a federal position for this country. This is the 3rd occurrence in 30 days where my package states it's "out for delivery" on Saturday and by the end of the day the status states "attempted delivery".......which couldn't be further from the truth. I've been home ALL DAY each of these Saturday's awaiting incredibly important items to be delivered that don't even get attempted. With it being the weekend, I now again have to wait until Monday to personally waste time in my life I'll never get back driving to the post office where I'm filling up my gas tank with unleaded inconvenience. With all the new people visiting the area, they may need to consider building a bigger facility and hiring an industrial engineer to work on their throughput. My wife and I recently moved to the area part time, but never told them to hold our mail. Since the first few weeks after our closing in October 2017, we received some mail, but soon after we stopped. Not that I mind, but it just seemed very interesting that not even a Kroger or Publix flyer made it's way to our mailbox for 3 months. We probably spent 30 minutes going from one line to another and finally was told they had no mail for us and there was no hold put on the address. Had a package sent to me from RockAuto and instead of delivering to my residence the package was return to sender without attempting to deliver. I know I don't have mail delivered to my residence I am sure that delivery was not attempted being I was at home and my phone number was on the address line and I did not get a call. I've had many positive experiences with our post office here in Bluffton, SC. Even when there are long lines, I've noticed I only end up waiting around 5-10 minutes. They are friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable if I have any questions about alternative shipping methods, costs, expected shipping times, etc. read more

I have lived in multiple states and even other countries and this post office takes the cake. The ladies at the counter are super nice and helpful but the supervisor needs to have her attitude adjusted down a couple notches. Had multiple tracked packages start to come up missing over a few weeks time. Supervisor her name starts with a "P" was absolutely no help at all. We actually had to file a incident report at the main postal headquarters for a investigation. Two days later some of those packages showed up in a "pile" in our mailbox. Not the usual post office. Most of the people here are very helpful. Occasionally, I have run across someone who was having a bad day. Getting a passport picture here is an issue because they schedule them months in advance. Better go to Walgreen's for that easy task. For what a post office does, it is very effective. read more

I just arrived home after a day of stormy weather to find a package sitting on the curb next to my mailbox. Everything in it was soaked and ruined. The worst part is that I have a front porch about 20 steps from the street! it was a birthday present for my daughter. Nearly every time I go in to use the self service kiosk, it's unable to print the small size labels due to "technical difficulties", and I end up having to stand in 20 minute line to mail something that's already labeled, and end up spending more because they don't know which selection I want. Something has changed at the Bluffton Post Office these past 3 months! Items are being delivered to the wrong address! Items show up missing or delayed from delivery days and sometimes weeks! Some items are forward as requested and others are not! We have proof of delivery at Post Office and when we try to retrieve the packages, the package is nowhere to be found! This post office is the absolute worst! The people that work here are absolutely rude and I despise having to go here. My husband just deployed and this is the first time I've had to fill out a customs declaration. Well I looked through all the papers and I found some grabbed a couple for my care packages filled them out and returned the next day. Well little did I know military customs declarations are different (they are the ones with barcodes for those who also don't know) I was spoken to like I was an absolute idiot. I have heard this same woman talk to other customers very similarly multiple other times. Now let me also mention that there weren't any with barcodes out so I didn't ever realize there were two different ones. Even after telling them there were none with barcodes out no one ever put out. I was there 20 mins refilling out customs and waiting in line again, so they had plenty of time to go restock. For the next 300 days of this deployment I will be making the drive to the Hilton head post office it will be worth the drive! read more
