So i called Gladiator Electric in Dumont and had them check our system to determine what was wrong. They came the following day, as scheduled, and checked our ventilation system. They saw what was wrong and fixed it. , Working with Zack and Eddie was a pleasure. They were on time, very friendly and were able to determine what was wrong. I was impressed with them. As a follow up, I asked them to provide me with an estimate for another project which we will do next month. If anyone needs an electrician I would recommend that they contact 'Gladiator' to discuss what work is required.

Reached out them thru their website and got a reply from Mike (the owner) within few minutes. They collect initial information such as electric panel, location of installation and pathway from main box to the location. Mike stopped by few days later to survey the property and provided me an exact quote via online. The quote site provides option to pre-qualify for financing which was a convenient option. Once I accepted the quote, got an installation appointment date 2 weeks away. On appointment day, Gladiator team arrived right on time. They did an amazing job of pulling the cable through my basement ceiling without cutting or poking anything. They used good quality material to run the cable through the trench to the charging dock. They installed the charger and ensured my Tesla was charging properly post installation. It took them about 6 hours to complete the job and they were dedicated to it through out the time. John, Jessie, Marcus were amazing. Gladiator pulled the permit and scheduled inspection with the town. I received notification emails for each of the appointments and reminders as well. Once inspection was done, I got all the documents from them to submit to PSE&G for rebate program. Overall I had an amazing experience working with Mike and Gladiator team. Really happy to see such a great company operating from my town. Would recommend them for any EV or electrical job. Will reach out to them for any future work in my house.

We had a really great experience with ICS. We've already recommended them to a handful of friends…read moreand neighbors as they're beating the competition in terms of both price and quality. AC going out in the dead of summer is never a good thing. We had the worry free protection plan from the local utility but it was already too late, the compressor had died and it was time for a full replacement. Naturally the local utility offer replacement services so we got a quote from them. Luckily, we also got quotes from two other companies. The local utility was way overpriced by comparison. For the same price of the basic system that the local utility had offered, we got an upgraded two stage system with an air cleaner from ICS. ICS did offer financing but it's in a more straight up manner versus the 'interest free' yet inflated system cost of other competitors. The install was super smooth. The project manager was in communication the entire time, keeping us updated on progress of the install and what was going on. The team was really respectful and cleaned up before finishing the job. The install itself was super organized, our hvac before was kind of an eye sore but now it looks like a sophisticated system. As far as performance, it's night and day. Previously our system struggled to cool more than 20 degrees below the outside temp. But now it just sits at the proper temp all day long regardless of how hot it is outside with only about a one degree of deviation. And the two stage system really does make for a more comfortable environment.

Anyways, I highly recommend NOT working with this company. If you even slightly don't agree with a final invoice they will threaten mechanic liens or send it to collections. Even without any signed contract. Willing to pay services rendered, minus the double costs on my end for them losing the check. Not a big ask. But they seemingly want to turn it into a bigger payday. I have been recommending this company for years. Brian O'Neill is been in business for a long time…read moreand that means a lot. You have to be good at what you do to achieve longevity. As a real estate agent, I work with contractors all the time and recommend them to my buyers and sellers. I've never had one complaint in I'd say, close to 20 years. Last week was yet another example. A homeowner called me up for help. Her mom passed away and she was clearing out the house to get it ready for the market. It was a hot day and the central air suddenly quit. She's not local and didn't know who else to call because other contractors she'd been told to call were either unresponsive or seemed to be not all that forthright. The company who had been servicing the house forever seemed to be the worst - took a quick look and told her the entire unit needed to be replaced with a staggering bid amount. Of all the contractors who came, Brian was the only one who told her that she did not have to replace the entire unit. All she needed was 1 part. The cost difference on this? Tremendous. Please note that when she called Brian, she'd told him that an estimate for replacement was needed. While my client was surprised, I wasn't. I've heard stories like this about O'Neill Contractors before. My experience with them is that they do excellent work and are highly ethical. It's no wonder they've been in business for a long time.
