I rented a small skid steer from the Coos Bay United Rentals location. The equipment worked flawlessly; however, this review is directed toward the professionalism of the staff. I personally was helped by three different staff members, and each was friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and willing to do whatever it took to get me on my way with just the right amount of direction/instruction so that I was able to operate the rental equipment with confidence. long story short i rented a long reach forklift. the one i reserved was not the one i got.it had no windshild or door.in rain season.then the all wheel drive went out while i was useing it.i called the store and told them what had happened.i also told them that i had called a tow company. they said ok well i went in the next busness day to settle up..i gave them the 2400 tow bill they stated that first i did not know anything and that i must be stupid.but they would not pay the tow bill.after three weeks and alot of calls they finally said they would pay it. then let me know i can never rent from them again. i would not rent from them ever again. read more
