I come here often, I have. a small business with 3 large vans that I need to fill up every week. The prices are decent for the area. The station has a car wash and it's pretty new, not run down at all. my only gripe is nearly every time I come and fill up I can't get a gas receipt unless I lock up my vehicle and walk into the store, wait min line, and request a receipt. It happened so often I believe it's a ploy to get you into the store and hopefully spend more money. This has been going on for a few years now and I am honestly fed up with it. [Review #430] 2019 Yelp 100 Challenge (82/100) I typically do not gas up at United Oil, but it's my husband's preferred station because it's convenient for him (& us when we're traveling) & is one of the lowest priced gas station in the South Bay. Located just off the 110 Fwy on the corner of 223rd & Figueroa Sts., this station is always busy but the lines move fairly quickly. Watch out for traffic turning into the station whether you're coming or going, people tend to speed in & out of, & around the station. :-X United Oil also has a car wash that uses known cleaning products: FOAMbrite, ArmorAll, Rain-X. The prices seemed a bit steep for an auto wash, though I'm not sure of the going rate. Also, I'm not sure if the cars are adequately cleaned for such a short wash; I've seen other stations that are fitted with a larger wash operation. No matter the name of the dryer system... be it the Vortex Dry or Oxygen Blast... the cars still come out wet, not drops of water, but it looks like they were just blasted with a hose. :-O I haven't used the car wash & don't have any intention to, but this is just my observation of others getting their car washed when I've been here. This place is my go to gas station! They have one of the lowest prices around town and it's right there by the 110 freeway. I can get gas on my way to work or to school, which is SO convenient. I don't have to drive out of my way! They take credit which I love because most gas stations with low prices take either debit or cash only. There is a good number of pumping station which majority of the time grantees a open spot. I rarely ever have to wait in line like Costco or Arco! Also, I have never seen a better looking gas station! It is so spacious and not cramped! The convenient store has a blue glass/gray stone design which is so modern and it looks a waterfall at times. They have televisions that show the weather and Bank of America commercials! The gas attendants a glass station that is pretty big that usually has two people in it but it can hold maybe 8 to 10, comfortably. The car wash is also great and a fun experience! As a child, if you ever wanted to be in the car while it was being washed and never experienced it, try their car wash! Its a short ride but fun none the less! They also have the air/water/vaccum machines which cost about a $1, which is my only CON but I've used it just once. I love this place and I plan on getting my gas here for as long as it is open! read more

One of my favorite gas stations!!!! It can get quite busy since it's super close to the freeway, so beware! After it got renovated, this United Oil is so pretty and I love going here. They (usually) have really good prices compared to other nearby locations--which, again, is why it gets so packed! GOOD: usually the best price for fuel in my neighborhood. Helpful counter staff. BAD: credit card pay at pump works about 60% of the time. Ditto for a receipt coming out of the machine when I tap yes. And the nozzles don't always stay on, have to fiddle with the rubber vapor boot. This station has got great prices! There is a waterfall on their wall and tv's at the pumps. A drive through car wash sits in the back. They even have the cracked pepper Spits brand sunflower seeds that I like. Only thing, their market is kind of small. Pump it, hottie ...lol. read more

Right off the 110 FWY, this place has probably been the busiest Gas Station in Carson since it opened. It's really nice inside, the selection of candy is great! This is the cheapest place to get gas in Carson, that's why it's so packed. Not impressed with how fast the gas burns. The car wash is cheap and it's pretty fast. It is amazing it has all kinds of updated and modern fixtures and lights. Has a beautiful entrance and nice looking water fall thingy- don't get to close or you will get water misty on you. The store has tons of goodies and lotto tickets, snacks and a pretty good car wash. The lines can be long for the pumps and the car wash. Reason being the gas is $4.07 per gallon for regular gas. That is pretty cheap within the area that it is in. Just driving by alone you will glace and be like WOW is that a gas station. Kinda tricky to get gas sometime cause the cars pile up and don't move. But this spot is a 5 star for me for the prices and the look. Staff is always nice too. They don't talk much but they get the line moving and get you in and out. read more

This is the cheapest gas station in this city! It can go as cheap as 5-10 cents. I used to go to 76 on Carson St. and Moneta, but since they opened this up, I've been going here instead. A lot of people say that they offer low grade gas, but if you've observed, United Oil is the same supplier for 76 gas stations. What makes this place even better is that they offer drive-thru car washes! You get a discount on the car wash if you buy it after filling up your gas tank. Worst car wash service ever!!! Car wash either does not work or it does not work properly. Employees were no help as well. After hassling them they gave me a new code to put in after completing a pointless form. After trying two different times I asked for a refund only to find out they only give store credit . Beyond ridiculous this is a gas station like come on... after realizing they only offer store credit the employee gave me a third code. So I gave the car wash a third and final try. To my shock it finally worked but was the quickest wash ever for $9. To add to my disappointment the wash did not dry my car! First and last time coming to this gas station. read more
