Our first kitchen set was from them and I was short two chairs from the set I bought for a moving in party. David and his Dad went upstate to get me the two chairs so I would have them in time. I remember saying wow what great and I have never for got what they did for me. That was 22 years ago. My second set I bought from them had chairs and after a few years needed to be redone and David advised us to restuff the chairs and recover them. They came back looking like brand new. Was very happy. Unfortunately just under 2 years the leather on the seats started to crack and I called David and he said to bring in the chair. After seeing the chair David honored redoing them and recommended restuffing them so they would come out right. Since we had a problem as always price wise he did right by us and backed his product and they came out beautiful. I believe most other stores would not of helped us after that time period and turned us away. I would highly recommend David and Dinette and Lighting to anyone. They stand for the word customer service. They also have beautiful furniture, fixtures and Tables. David is kind, honest and caring and there work is beautiful. You would not be disappointed at all. He explained to me the lumins of bulbs, and how the higher the lumins, the hotter the bulb. I think that contributed to the demise of the switch. Too much heat. Having worked for 30+ years in the Huntington area I knew of the LONG time store for shades just West of the intersection of #25 & #110 and actually found something that 'worked' but it was a bit too 'modern' for the style of this antique lamp. He did have some very lovely old fashioned shades, w'fringe & embroidery that were very beautiful but a bit too 'much' for my taste! Thinking I wasn't going to find the 'tailored' but 'old fashioned' look I wanted I purchased the shade from the well stocked place @ the top of #110. Since I had looked for other 'lamp shade' places here on Yelp & phoned 'Tomlin' before leaving home, and the man had been so helpful on the phone & it was on the way home I figured I might as well stop there also. I am so glad I did! Perfect shade for my lamp, 'old' looking but not 'boudoir-ish'! I had been unable to find an antique brass satin finish chain & fittings for a found on the curb on trash day 'Tiffany like' chandelier that I had looked high & low to match @ the 'usual' places w'no luck. I mentioned it & low & behold a few trips to the back & he came up w'all the parts I needed! One of the nicest & accommodating store owners I have EVER met! THANK YOU Sir! There is absolutely no way to get in touch with them. No chat, no email, no phone number. I found a phone number with an internet search, but no one answers the phone. It's my fault for not paying attention to this prior to ordering. If you order something from a company that has no customer service, you're risking it. If this lamp magically shows up and they just don't update their order pages, I will change my review. We were scheduled several days after our estimate. James and Ben from Cavanagh Electric arrived promptly. They were very courteous and professional and completed the installation in a timely manner without any issues. We put a final touch on the installation of the transfer switch box with some moulding.
