Fortunately, I still wanted a professional opinion so I called Chella Roofing for an inspection and Brandon went out to the property the very next day to inspect my roof and found some issues with the roof that only a trained eye would detect. He sent my an very detailed inspection report with plenty of pictures and a thorough explanation of each problem area later that very same day. This information was priceless to me as a buyer ready to sign on the dotted line for such a substantial purchase. We are now counter-offering to determine an acceptable solution to our roofing issues. I can not thank Brandon and Chella Roofing enough for their prompt and professional service. That alone spoke volumes about the level of customer service. He also provided an estimate to repair the vinyl on my home, and later tried to renege on the work he originally agreed to perform. Looking for estimates on a roof replacement. Funny, I never got one even though it was promised…read more In fact they never took any measurements at all. Damage was found and suggested I file a claim. Insurance was quick to respond, checks in the bank in a couple of days. The only redeeming factor for this roofing company is their install crew. They were hard working, organized and diligent on cleanup. Near Me Roofing Co. however was disorganized, lacked the ability to communicate and deceptive. They attempted to give me a lower grade shingle than priced by insurance. I'm sure the shingle would have been fine but not what I was paying for. I was told shingles would be hand nailed but were installed with air guns. Again, not a big problem just deceptive. Supplies arrived 3 days after scheduled day & only after I contacted the company. Install day and no installers. Around 1 pm someone did call and I learned they were finishing up another job. I was asked if they could squeeze me in? Guess they had rescheduled my job for the next day. Because no one measured the roof they ran short on shingles. It's disappointing to watch it rain on your unfinished roof. A few days later additional supplies arrived unannounced at 6 am blocking access to my car. We are on day 6 and still waiting for them to pick up the pallet of leftovers. I'm in my mid 70's and really grateful the grocery store is only a mile away. It's been the most chaotic roofing job I've ever been through. Basically they made the sale and communication stopped. While the installers did a really good job I would NEVER recommend this company.

This is a follow-up to the roofing work that Grant McNeill did for me yesterday. He and his helper…read moreshowed up at about 8:15am which was a reasonable time. In light of the fact that the job involved a metal roof, they wanted to get started early enough to alleviate some of the heat that was going to follow later that morning. In a sentence those guys "stayed after it!" From 8:15 that morning till 4 o'clock that afternoon they worked to remove both of the outdated turbines as well as facilitating better ventilation by cutting the ridge back 2". They replaced the decking where the turbines had been as well as the metal panels. In addition they replaced ALL of the original sheet metal screws (many were backing out) with new oversized screws and seals. All in all I was totally satisfied not only with the quality of work that ArLaTex Roofing rendered for this particular job, but also the work ethic that was exhibited, pricing of the job, their integrity and overall professionalism!
