This is a follow-up to the roofing work that Grant McNeill did for me yesterday. He and his helper…read moreshowed up at about 8:15am which was a reasonable time. In light of the fact that the job involved a metal roof, they wanted to get started early enough to alleviate some of the heat that was going to follow later that morning. In a sentence those guys "stayed after it!" From 8:15 that morning till 4 o'clock that afternoon they worked to remove both of the outdated turbines as well as facilitating better ventilation by cutting the ridge back 2". They replaced the decking where the turbines had been as well as the metal panels. In addition they replaced ALL of the original sheet metal screws (many were backing out) with new oversized screws and seals. All in all I was totally satisfied not only with the quality of work that ArLaTex Roofing rendered for this particular job, but also the work ethic that was exhibited, pricing of the job, their integrity and overall professionalism! If you have any needs for a quality company to address your roofing needs, then give a call to GRANT MCNEILLand his crew at ARKLATEX ROOFING! You won't regret it!!!

This was our first house we have ever bought to flip as an investment, so going into this project…read morewe had little experience. I found Eric here on Yelp and not knowing anything about his work, decided to give him a shot because he's local. Eric's quote to paint an entire 3/1 from baseboards to removing popcorn ceiling and refinishing and painting it was great! The best by far we had gotten. Eric also had good availability and was able to start (earlier) than planned. Eric did an excellent job communicating with me throughout the project and even finished the project ahead of time. For my complaints. This is probably on me, but I think I went into the project expecting better quality than what I got. However, looking back now, I think it's fair to say I got for what I paid for. The quality of the paint and the job is not the best. We had to call back Eric a couple of times after the project was finished to fix missed spots or clean up missed areas. Although I am happy and appreciative that he did come back to fix these issues, I'd prefer it be done right the first time. Let me be clear, the house looks much better than it did before, so it was worth the money I paid, however, I'd say that don't go in with really high expectations as I did. If you're needing an "ok" job and are on a tight budget, Eric is a good pick.
