Wuhan virus ready in his masks,and shoe cover he promptly greeted and enquired details about the AC. Got to work with his tech devices on patiently checked the thermostat, headed to the AC. Worked through his magic and gave recommendations on AC filter, freon and best practises. He quickly diaognosed and fixed it. Charged a nominal fee . No upselling or fear mongering, He was kind enough to check my other AC and did not ask for additional $. Highly recommend Alan for all your AC needs during this time. There were some things that were offered as upgrades with other builders that are standard with Southwest Homes like granite countertops. They were also very competitive in the cost of the home. From the beginning we liked the way things were handled. Stan Ward the Sales Manager is very personable and easy to work with. He helped us with the fun part -selecting the brick, paint, flooring, cabinet stains and granite, etc. He also completed the upfront paperwork. Frank Williams, the Construction Manager, oversaw construction of our home. He was in contact with us at least weekly, usually more often. We were living on the property at the time it was being built, and would always let us know about the scheduling, and who would be coming. If there was something that didn't seem quite right or if we just had a question, we were always able to reach him. Our concerns were addressed right away. Leila Warman is the Production Coordinator in the office. She is able to keep both these guys going and the office running smoothly. The road to our new home did have a few bumps along the way, but the bottom line is I'm very happy with our home, and with the service we received before, during and after closing. If we ever have another home built, I will definitely contact Southwest Homes.

Within 1 week of install water was pouring out of our ceiling due to faulty install.10 months later, the entire drip pan bent and water was again pouring out of the pan, onto our attic floor and out the ceiling lights upstairs. James Parks was so professional in his presentation to us as far as what he provides as a builder. He was upfront with pricing and construction. Danielle, our front lady who we love, was amazing and took great care of us. But truly, the Oscar goes to Reid T., our foreman, who was so patient and guided us through some severe design flaws via the architect (another Yelp for another day (Blue Line Design..NO.) Nobody anticipated these flaws based on the fact that these are professional architects (or are they?) but Reid caught them every time. He reassured us that the awkward wall upstairs could be remedied He was empathetic and corrected several cabinet issues for us. He was never pushy but such bold, albeit, minor suggestions that made the world of difference in our house. He took minor design flaws and rocked them into full blown made for TV interior design show specials. We are blessed to be living in such a beautiful house and thankful to Reid who was so genuine and purposeful with all our questions and always had a solution. We are not design magnets and his suggestions were so welcome and helpful. We loved his approach to the home building process as it seemed as if he were sincere in building it for his own family...a place that truly was a home. Parks is a great company. These guys do not follow instructions. They stuck a business card right on top of a door sticker…read morethat clearly states no soliciting. If they can't follow instructions before the job is even landed, I would expect the same with the work they do.
