Allegiant Air

Have had absolutely no issues with Allegiant. Flights were all on time and some flights actually…read morearrived early. Baggage claim at ATW was very slow but I think that is an airport issue.

The regular national carriers like Delta, Southwest, and United have become increasingly like…read morediscount airlines to the point that they really aren't that different. If you can afford to travel first or business class then you're not even looking at this review. For those of us who want to save our money for the destination, if Allegiant gets you there you can save considerable amounts of money and fly nonstop from small airport to small airport. The base price is hard to stick to, you have to pay for checked luggage, overhead carryon, being able to board earlier, choose your seat, have a few inches of knee room, in flight beverage or snack, and I can't remember what else. But I can play that game, so they punished me by giving me a center seat on both flights with so little room I was in the tight tuck position off a diving board. But it was a short flight, I was boarded nearly last, and Appleton Wisconsin and Orlando Sanford Airport are such pleasant low volume smaller airports. Parking is very affordable at Appleton which isn't a bad drive from Milwaukee. Sanford is a long way to the resorts on Orlando where renting a car is expensive, rental insurance is as much as the daily rate so even with a reservation ahead of time it's going to be close to $100 a day. I like to use public transportation, but LYNX, the Orlando area bus system is truly awful, so I had to Uber from the airport to the hotel and then back, but I still saved quite a lot of money as compared to flying from Milwaukee to Orlando on any other airline, including Spirit. Here's the most important thing, Allegiant was ON TIME going and coming back. I don't deny the customer service experiences other YELPers have had, but if you look at the reviews for other airlines, I'm afraid that's just what the industry has become.

We asked for some nice…read moreand close hotels in the Cancun area and our travel agent assured us everywhere he was recommending was 5 stars and so trusting his word we went with one of the resorts. Before we even left for our vacation we had to ask him three different times just to get our travel itinerary/information. Nick Webb is his name if you're wondering, he ended up sending it to us mind you he sent this information to us maybe four days before our departure. All of this information ended up changing and the only way we found out our flights changed and we're switched around with times was because I looked through the flying company's app with our flight numbers! Nick couldn't even bother letting us know our planes were leaving earlier/later I guess that wasn't important enough to inform us about. Once we landed in Cancun it was an absolute mess from there, we told Nick we wanted to be close to the airport cause we didn't feel like starting our vacation with a long drive to our hotel. Pretty simple request but I guess not, going against our wishes Nick sent us about an hour and a half away from the airport (not including time with traffic) When we arrived everything seemed okay our room somehow wasn't ready so we had to wait another forty minutes or so while they "cleaned" our room. The hotel went on to tell us about how they have 6 different restaurants, free room service cause it was all inclusive, multiple pools so on and so fourth so we were excited to start our trip from there! We got to our room and it was immediately one red flag after another, there was over an inch clearance from the door and outside so any of the geckos, cockroaches and other insects could creep into our room, after that we noticed MOLD everywhere. It was on our ceilings in our bathroom and in the bathtub. The shower was disgusting there was a bunch of random stuff in the drain, the bathroom counters had stains everywhere, the bathroom floor had mold and mildew in the corner along with standing water. Moving into the next main room where we're supposed to sleep let's start with the air didn't even work so it was disgustingly hot in there, our bedroom sheets had mold stains and a few other unidentifiable stains on them as well along with the chairs you're supposed to be able to relax in. So we complained to the front about all of this and they said they'd go clean the room. We decided to go check out some of the other parts of the hotel, an they weren't any better the pool had algae and mold growing all over it, the beach was disgusting, none of the restaurants were ever open and youd ask different workers and some of them would say they're 24/7 or that they're open from 5-10 So not only we're we being sent on a wild goose chase just to find food but every time we we're told one of them we're open we would go there and they'd be closed!! So we decided to order room service cause it's all inclusive right? Nope 35$ not including the food so we just ate the snacks we brought from home. Decided to head back to our room to see if it was clean and it wasn't and after a couple more times complaining and the time being about now 10:30 at night and neither I or my mother could sleep cause we felt there was probably bed bugs everywhere cause we kept breaking out in hives we went down to the front desk. They moved our rooms at 10:30 at night to another room that had pretty much all the same issues and a new one being that when you showered the bathroom literally flooded Don't know how that isn't a safety hazard but whatever. We ended up reaching out to Nick sending him the pictures telling him all the times we complained begging him for a solution because we COULD NOT stay in this disgusting hotel, I mean we we're looking at flights home the day we landed. Nick pretty much emailed us back saying we're the ones who picked this vacation and he also informed us he reached out to the hotel and they said we never once complained. Don't ever waste your time with this company unless you want to go somewhere so disgusting your skin crawls and your travel agent who you payed how much money for pretty much informs you that it's all your fault supposedly even though you have no idea what this resort looks like except for of course the catfished pictures on their site. to dig a little deeper then the hotels website? Ridiculous this whole trip was like throwing your money in a garbage bag and then hopping in after it. Please don't ever waste your time associating with Nick Webb and Apple valley vacations aka fox world travel.

WARNING: Do not book flights through Kiwi.com…read more My experience with Kiwi.com has been extremely stressful and concerning, especially while dealing with a serious medical emergency. I booked international flights through Kiwi.com and also paid for additional protection. Shortly before my trip I was diagnosed with a Deep Vein Thrombosis and Pulmonary Embolism. My physician provided a formal medical certificate clearly stating that air travel was not medically safe and that I was not fit to travel during my scheduled travel dates. Despite providing legitimate medical documentation, Kiwi.com repeatedly delayed the process and continued requesting more and more documents. Each time we contacted customer support we received different information. Over multiple conversations with different agents we were quoted several different cancellation fees including $80, $299, and over $350. No one could clearly explain these charges and every representative gave a different answer. Customer support was extremely difficult to reach. Chat sessions frequently disconnected, the system would say there was an internet connection problem when there wasn't, and when we did manage to speak with someone they were unable to provide clear answers or resolve anything. There is also no easy way to speak with a knowledgeable representative by phone. What was most alarming was the amount of personal and medical information they demanded even after receiving a valid doctor's certificate. They requested additional forms for my doctor to complete, asked for the doctor's tax ID number, copies of passports, treatment receipts, medical records, and even more detailed documentation. The level of personal information they demanded felt excessive and invasive, especially during a medical crisis. Ironically, when dealing directly with the airline on a previous trip, providing a simple doctor's letter was enough to resolve the issue quickly and respectfully. This was completely different. The process through Kiwi.com felt like an endless cycle of delays and additional requests. Another important point for travelers: we later discovered that booking directly with the airline would have been approximately $450 cheaper than booking through Kiwi.com. The third-party markup combined with confusing cancellation policies makes the situation even worse. Travel is stressful enough without having to fight with the company that sold you the ticket. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend booking directly with airlines instead of using Kiwi.com. The lack of consistent customer service, constantly changing fees, and excessive documentation requests made this one of the worst travel booking experiences I have ever had. I tried to post it giving it zero star since they are literally -5 but I had no choice to at least do one star they're not even that.

We had flown our WWII C-47D from the Yankee Air Museum in and landed directly at Oshkosh to participate in the Warbirds displays for a couple days. Our original plan for returning was to get dropped off with our luggage near our plane when we were finished with the Airshow. Then we would take off from Oshkosh. But due to the traffic in and around the Airshow as well as complications for getting our group and our luggage to the plane for departure, our pilot decided to fly the plane from Oshkosh to Appleton International Airport which was also closer to our hotel. Then we could all meet up there to board the plane and depart for home. The air traffic was much lighter and there were virtually no vehicle traffic problems getting our group to the plane. The Platinum Flight Center at Appleton International Airport is where we met to board our plane. They operate facilities to service and fuel charters, Business flights, private planes, etc, as well as passenger services and processing. They are located on the opposite side of the airport grounds and everything looked new, clean, and well maintained. They even loaded and delivered our luggage to and onto our plane for us. This could be useful for future airshows as well.

HAIR, TRASH, GRIME in the room. Stuff LEAKING FROM THE WALLS. I literally wouldn't believe it if I hadn't witnessed it with my own eyes! The pool area was also so gross. Greasy fingerprints on all of the games. Yes they were remodeling, but non of the things we experienced were because of that! SAVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Also.. We never mentioned our experience to the front desk. The lady working was always on the verge of tears. Upon check-in, even before she greeted us, she told us that she didn't know what she was doing. They were transitioning to a new system and she had no proper training. Management was not supporting staff and she felt completely overwhelmed. So I guess we just didn't want to add to her stress and be the annoying people complaining to her.

I had to be insistent on the phone to not book it which was annoying. There's some lack of information they provide: pool, parking and breakfast availability so we had to do some digging and ask when we checked in. We stayed here two nights. The decor is outdated. I'd say the room was decently cleaned, but they did leave a used washcloth on the shower. The worst part about this place is the noise. We were in 2402 and the sound traveled CLEARLY. I could hear conversations next door and a bit through the hallways. The door slams from other rooms woke me up at night.
