Avoid their service center at all costs. No communication between the service counter and the mechanics. $2000 later, my problem still exists. A carburetor and bushing on mower deck were the only items replaced. No one told me about the bushing, but did not need a carburetor, ran fine . I was told they had trouble starting it. Took a small john deere gator over for service as well $2000 as well. I guess thats the magic number. Just hearing the mechanics complaining about the customers while I was picking up my equipment was enough. The service manager actually has a set of rules standing on a plexiglass holder on his desk that says " Customers will be charged for asking questions, and if you sit in a chair you will be charged for therapy". I did ask for flail mower to buy in United Ag&Turf,Tyler, i was told John Derre not produce it.I ordered brand new JD rotary cutter RC78B.Never was shipped,never delivered yet.In meantime i found flail mower from Baumlight and called to United turfAg.Ty,saleman,told me,they can traide in the rotary cutter,which i never saw, as used, to buy Baumlight. Had to have a Field Service Technician come to my place in Bullard to help me on a John Deere 5403. The technician was named Logan and I just want to give him a huge "shout out"!! Very professional and diagnosed the problem within 10 minutes and had the unit started. What an outstanding and professional young man. United Ag and Turf should cultivate this individual to any position of greater responsibility within the organization, especially if it deals with "customer care".
